- Just wanted to do an updated Blackbeard run after learning more about him, this time under 10 minutes. He is best used as a musou spammer due to being Power type and having strong musou attacks.
Playstyle: Status Reliant, Musou spammer, C4
Hidden tech:
There's a hidden tech with BB that the game doesn't really explain. If you use any black hole skills (C4, C5, walking around in FFB) it sinks enemies into the ground, and any followup attacks using a musou special will result in DOUBLE damage. This is especially useful against annoying Logia enemies. My preferred strategy is to sink them into the ground using C4 and finish with a musou, it usually one shots anyone even without armor breaking them.
When using C4 combo, the final hit in SSSTTT will release them from the underground state and pull them towards you. Unless you are farming for specials, you want to avoid this by canceling before the last hit. Another tech I like to do is extending FFB by using C4 combo and turning off FFB right before the last hit, it pretty much gives you max charge and you can pop FFB again.
Since the blackhole sink state counts as a debuff, I use Great Pirate's Ire to guarantee giants sink. Without it they are very resistant to sinking and will not sink with one combo. This can be swapped out for Giant's Fist or Peerless Strength if you are not specifically targeting against giants.
And lastly for the specials, Big Bang has very high damage and The Man Who Shakes The World has incredible range. Thanks to DK社长 a Chinese speedrunner for inspiring me to redo Blackbeard.

BB being my favorite character in the series, I’m glad to see how good he is on this game. I thought I’d be running Big Mom, Kaido or WB but He just feels so much smoother.

This battle i could only beat on hard with White Beard and get S class.
White Beard is clearly the best character.

@@mask5586 Tem um ataque Big Bang que combina a Gura e a Yami.
Tem o tremor do céu que o Barba Branca usava e o Dark Matter.
Se usarmos a Gura mais vezes ele faz mais danos por isso carrega mais rápido os ataques especiais.
Gostaria era que não tivessem removido o Kizuna attack que tinha no 3,isso foi um passo atrás.

Healing skills are good for learning but once you become comfortable you won't need them on any character anymore
