The (British Racing Green-like) 1976 Datsun 280-Z I bought new as an Army Lieutenant in Georgia is THE CAR I wish I had never sold. To find one with 350 miles on the odometer would be the ultimate old soldier’s fantasy. On a trip north I had it Ziebarted, an elaborate rustproofing process involving injecting the black Ziebart rustproofing compound inside doors and the places normal undercoating could never reach, which practically guaranteed the ‘76 Z would survive the legendary rusting issues that plagued the original Z body style. Assuming it survived a major wreck my Z would be a great barn find somewhere down in the land of cotton. But 350 miles-how does that even happen? 🧨
Would love an update from the new owner of the Datsun! See how it is doing! Looking extremely mint even after sitting in that barn for 44 years thanks to some TLC and some elbow grease!
The new car beautiful like a time capsule. S30Z which is also rare in the world. Talk changes, but this Z owner lives in a big castle like a lord of manor.

There's a name from the past ziebart, if your car was ziebarted it was meant to last.
