Love Yuri so much! I think she’s such a generous performer too. And she reminds me of Ednita Nazario, maybe because I used to listen to them around the same time, but also there’s something about the potency of their voices that remind me of one another. I’m not as familiar with her more recent stuff but if you can find one of Ednita’s live performances of Aprenderé, Ahora Es Tarde Ya or Tú Sin Mi, I think you might like.
I so enjoy when you review Mexican singers! They way you reacted to Yuridia is basically how my mom and I would react every week she sang on La Academia. And what can be said about Yuri. She has a phenomenal voice that my mom has been listening to all her life and therefore I have as well lol. A bona-fide superstar and so sweet and charismatic to boot!

And she reminds me of Ednita Nazario, maybe because I used to listen to them around the same time, but also there’s something about the potency of their voices that remind me of one another.

And what can be said about Yuri. She has a phenomenal voice that my mom has been listening to all her life and therefore I have as well lol. A bona-fide superstar and so sweet and charismatic to boot!
Yuridia participated on a singing contest similar to the voice, and she didn’t won, however Mexico went insane for her voice, and the judges said she was at the level of Yuri and Amanda Miguel, she has a great career and honestly I’m so excited to hear your opinion on her voice
