Yeah I definitely need more of this. When a Pal falls during a raid of your base I also assume its gone forever? You might want to keep this in mind. Raids usually happen in day 4 or 5.
Yep, Pals who have fallen during raids count as being gone forever! Also, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the series so far! Episode 3 is in the editing phase right now! 👀

Man Im excited to see how far this goes! I really want them to add a permadeath mode already (something like a "master mode"), would add so much replayability and content alone.

I know right? The combat in this game really is unforgiving on hard mode! You deal so little damage and take so much.

You better believe it! I actually started recording this run 2 or 3 days after the game released. It’s been super fun and brutally challenging so far.
It makes sense when the game has actual difficulty settings and appeals to an older audience that's looking for a challenge. Still feels like one should actually finish the game before attempting though
I’ve been doing Nuzlocke as well with a little spin.
1) If a Pal dies, I can no longer catch them or use that specific Pal and must butcher them all.
2) If I die, my party must be butchered. However, I can still use and catch those same Pals until they themselves are incapacitated.
3) If I die, all the items I’m currently carrying are lost forever and I must recraft everything.
I’m always looking for ways to make the game super challenging and it’s been an absolute rollercoaster so far. Can’t wait for more pals to be added! We’re supposed to be getting like 70 more pals in the near future.

It's kinda weird you want to send "dead" pals to the box when the butcher knife is right there
Oh yeah, I considered butchering them instead, but I wanted to be able to stare at them anytime I was feeling nostalgic. It also allows me to easily look up information about them if I need to!
