I've always liked Carrollton. Everything you need is right there in beautiful surroundings. I'm currently in Hiram, however most of the Jimmy Smith Pkwy 'strip' I don't think is technically Hiram. When we camp at McIntosh park Carrollton is the go to place to get supplies.
@@Crazytraveladdicts I came up here in 2019 to care for a sick friend. I'm originally born/raised in Florida. Went back after she got better but kept this as my home base. Florida is untenable these days. I'm in my travel trailer/rig and even the RV parks are too expensive. My friend and husband told me to come back. So I have. I prefer it up here in NW GA. Everything is better. I still have family in Florida and of course will go back and forth. But here, is the gateway to other friends in Tennessee South Carolina and Kentucky. My son and his family are in Pittsburgh. It's easier to drive to everywhere else from here.
Carrollton was named in honor of Charles Carroll of Carrollton. Charles Carroll was one of the signers of the Declaration representing state of Maryland. In Maryland, we have a Carroll County and a small town named New Carrollton. Oh, the statue in the square with the man sitting on a bale of cotton is named the "cotton farmer"...
What a beauty!!!🤍. You guys are lucky to live in such a beautiful town ♥️. Thank u for sharing 🤍

42:33 None of those are residential. All of them are class buildings. It's also the oldest part of campus.

@@Crazytraveladdicts I also love Tanner Lake Park area. I think that's near Carrollton. Beautiful place.
@@GwenWittig I actually grew up a few miles away from John Tanner State Park in a small town named Mt Zion…..
@@Crazytraveladdicts I know where that is! This area of Georgia is beautiful. I have zero desire to live in Florida ever again.
