'Mantra' is a sanksrit word meaning 'that which liberates and cleanses the mind'. Mantra refers to a sacred sound formula that is vibrated repeatedly, as a process of purifying the heart and mind, allowing the innate brilliance within to shine out into every aspect of our lives. So simple, but so powerful!
The maha-mantra: 'Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare; Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare; awakens the heart to its divine nature, and brings about joy and true inner satisfaction.
This tune was inspired by the song 'Vrikshavalli Amha' by the medieval saint-poet Tukaram, as popularly sung by Lata Mangeshkar: [ • Vrukshavalli Aamha Soy... ]
In his song, Saint Tukaram describes his joy in singing the names of God repeatedly, as he sits in nature. [WATCH HERE! • वृक्षवल्ली आम्हा.. ]
He sees the trees and birds as his dearest friends, as they sing along with him! In this state he realises that he has no need of any material possessions - he is fully nourished by the sacred sound of God's names.

I cry every single time I listen to this song. I know very few about this culture, I barely know what this song means. But I just feel a really deep connection to this, and my soul just feels healed afterwards. It’s a feeling that nothing else in this world gives me. It’s pure joy but also a pinch of sadness, as if I’m leaving something behind but also finding what I’ve always been looking for. It’s magical, that’s the best way to put it. I’d give anything to be in a room full of people listening to this, just like in this video.

I never heard of Jahnavi until a few weeks ago. I got invited to her concert in Atlanta. It was exhilarating from start to finish, obviously the crowd new her and showed up to see her. The show was electric for Jahnavi it was all about crowd participation, she wanted to hear us. I left hungry and in search for more, I am now in such a good place and continuing to grow day by day. I sing this everyday, morning, noon and night, I even got my beads and use them every morning. Thank you thank u thank you🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 oh and she is funny, great sense of humour with a beautiful spirit 💖

"The divine exultation that is experienced by Sukadeva Goswami, Narada Muni, Lord Siva, and others upon hearing the Holy Name was now being experienced by the residents of Navadvipa as they passed through the different neighborhoods of the town. Although the kirtan continued for a whole night, one should not think that this was just one night - IN ACTUALITY, MANY KALPAS HAD PASSED DURING THAT TIME (billions of years), UNKNOWN TO ANYONE. Nothing is impossible for Lord Caitanya, the Supreme Lord to accomplish; a mere raising of His eyebrow annihilates the entire universe. Only the most fortunate and pious souls can comprehend such esoteric truths about the Absolute. A dry mental speculator is not eligible for such revelations."

I remember me being an atheist before but I visited ISKCON temple and one of the prabhuji gave me a copy of Bhagvat Gita I went home and immediately started reading it slowly I read it everyday and then after 6 months I wanted to visit that temple again. As soon as I entered I felt a change within myself just entered and put a step forward tears came rolling down my eyes and still thank Krishna for changing me I've seen a lot of improvements within myself even today I sometimes cry happily after listening to Kirtans. hare Krishna and this is real incident that happened with me it completely changed me ❤️😌

I visit to Isckon, Greater Kailash many times and a fews day back when I went there the prabhuji who was doing kirtan in temple was singing in the same tune and the devotees loved it.
Yes Shyamananda Prabhu and Golokhnath Prabhu also sang this tune in the ISKCON Mira Road temple, too, in 2018.
