I feel alone in the city and definitely my heart is in darkness, I can relate to dancing alone on a roof at night. No matter where you are in the world you can feel the warmth and love of God. It's beautiful. Thank you.
I am a Bangladeshi 26 year old unemployed youth. Whenever depression surrounds me, when nothing feels good, when life seems completely meaningless, I find the last destination or refuge in this holy Mahamantra. I listen silently, keep singing, keeping myself calm. I kept chanting the holy name of Govinda in my mind. Then a heavenly peace came to my mind. I started loving myself again. I lost my maternal aunty yesterday. She was like a mother to me. She raised me with so much love, care and affection unconditionally. It is so sad I was not there when she breathed her last and during her last ritual. There are few people in life who are genuine and she was one for me. Always my cheerleader in good or bad. Who knew my likes and dislikes, who raised me as her daughter. I was in immense pain and Janviji your voice is healing me.. no one can fill the void I have now but I hope and pray my aunty is in a peaceful place. Tears of sadness as I am in a big city where all feels so cold, and tears of longing for the Divine too. I know deep down that the Divine is everywhere, even if I don't always feel it. To me, it is a visual expression of what it's like to grow up in Bhakti, and then to be "out in the world" - inside is the vibrant, colorful, joyful freely expressed love of Lord Krsna, and outwardly is the gray existence of the material world. Dancing alone in the dark of the twilight hours feels like keeping that Hare Krishna side secret, or at least subdued. Oh what a relief! Thank you for making this heartfelt video! To me, it is a visual expression of what it's like to grow up in Bhakti, and then to be "out in the world" - inside is the vibrant, colorful, joyful freely expressed love of Lord Krsna, and outwardly is the gray existence of the material world. Dancing alone in the dark of the twilight hours feels like keeping that Hare Krishna side secret, or at least subdued. Oh what a relief!
