This was my first opening for white from roughly 0-900 ELO, because I love the Moment of Zuke/ Zuke 'Em books by Rudel (great writing style, nice heuristics etc...taught me a lot about the greek gift). Since I played it quite a bit, as white I play the annoying 3. ... c5 (with plans to play Nd7 and fianchetto kingside) instead of the "Anti Colle" bishop move as black. You're spot on it's a great opening system, because you have clear plans and ideas what to do with your pieces instead of rote memorization. And usually there's nice attacks.
I was born in the wrong era. I was a chess champion in high school in my city. Yet I knew nothing of opening theory. If I could time travel with the knowledge you have provided, I would have probably gone much further.
@@journeytograndmaster Well, with all of the knowledge that's available today simply means more people understand the game making the competition more difficult. 😉
My name is Salman, and I am an aspiring chess player eager to improve my skills and understanding of the game. I have been following your journey in chess, and I deeply admire your expertise and strategic approach. I would be incredibly grateful if you could consider teaching me the fundamentals of chess and guiding me to become a better player. Your mentorship would mean a lot to me, and I am willing to put in the effort to learn and grow under your guidance. Please let me know if you are open to this opportunity and how I might proceed to discuss this further. I am happy to work around your schedule and terms. also, i would like to talk about your website for a free chess course because nothing happened when i entered the given information
Hi Salman! Thanks a lot for your kind words and interest. Feel free to send me an email. As for the free course, if you have entered your email correctly, you should have gotten an email with all the details. Please check your spam folder too. If haven't gotten anything and have entered the correct email address, then write that in the letter as well, I will help you with it. You can find the email either on the website or in the description of the TH-cam channel.
@journeytograndmaster The video title is in French and the words inside are in French. It seems to be a problem with me only because no one else has complained about it
Wow, like the actual video is in French? TH-cam has introduced this new feature of translating videos to different languages but I have never seen it in action. Are you from France?
@@journeytograndmaster, I am from Belgium, and the title of the video is 'Cette simple ouverture blanche écrase 1500 joueurs ELO'. That is annoying, I prefer no translation at all... BTW, tsome white moves differ from those proposed in your 10 days course (not a problem, of course).

Thank you! Yeah, very promising opening :)

Yeah, it's much simpler nowadays with all the knowledge available.
Surely U knew something; maybe a name of an opening.

@@ASMRcigarlounge1865 that's definitely true!
Part 2 pls
Part 2 with the best moves from black ❤
How do you define the best moves? There are a lot of different alternatives for black. It's not like there is one absolutely best one
WIll this surprise 1800 FIDE players?
There are already stronger, but this opening works fantastically against such players from my experience
Chess is a sport that I like. Though I don't have much support, I will see you at the world championship 2028
Me? :) Only as a visitor or maybe commentator (who knows?)
But I hope to become a GM by that time!

hello
London opening destroys.
Why do you like it?
@journeytograndmaster It's easy, effective, and annoys my friends and opponents to no end.
Thanks! Interesting, I could never understand why someone would play London :)
Why is the video in French?
What? :)
