      YDINO I would love that. I would actually rather see him against Stephen A but they're on different stations. Skip doesn't come up with enough good points about Jordan and he is also biased. Stephen A on the other hand respects Lebron a lot but still knows Jordan is the best.

      The legend of MJ only speaks of his accolades, the legend of LBJ is the real
      GOAT. MJs losing in the first rd is always brought up but LBJs missing the playoffs 2x isnt because unlike MJ he is allowed to develop. MJs not making it past the 1st without scottie is brought up but the fact that as an unproven rookie he didnt start a single game his rookie season and avg 10 ppg off the bench yet you would swear he carried MJ past Cle that year in the 1st rd the way bronsexuals tell it. People always say LBJ shouldnt be punished for making 7 finals as if losing in rd 4 is some sort of consolation prize and he should get a participation trophy for being the best loser. The legend of LBJ says he can guard all 5 positions, the tape says otherwise. The legend says LBJ is the GOAT but the accolades and accomplishments disagree. He has played the same amount of time as MJ in the league and has done less in both rings and in overall accolades yet his fans think he is the greatest. Now that is a real legend

    Pop wouldn't let Kawhi play with the injury.. after the second quarter they were icing his knee so there was more to it than just an ankle injury. Pop would rather have him ready for games 6 and 7 than win game 5 but lose both games 6 and 7. It's just the way Pop works and you have to give him some credit for the defensive effort they gave Houston in overtime.

    • @brandonwoods7886
      @brandonwoods7886 7 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      They tend to forget the Pop controls that team. You do what he tells you or he sits you down. No other coach in the league has that much power over his team because teams are ran by players. Ty Lue doesn't tell Lebron what to do, curry and Durant aren't listening to Mike brown if he tries that. Westbrook and Harden have more power than the coach. Cousins has more power than the coach and he's not even on their level. Pop would rather take a loss than be overridden by a player.

    These arguments about Kawhi and Harden in game 5 have very little to do with them. Kawhi didn't play because Popp wants all guys on the court at 100%, Dantoni disregarded this and chose to have his best guys less than 100%. Arguing about who is in or out of the game is a coaching decision, and Popp clearly made the right decision and got the W.

      Not really a sure fire way. Players analyze other players completely different from fans and media. Most players today will have Harden as the best player in the nba cos of his offensive skillset and how hard it is to guard him without picking up fouls. Doesn't mean he's actually the best.

    • @amadouba5910

    Why wasn't Kawhi on the court in the last 11 seconds? Easiest answer of my life. He plays for Pop and it wasn't his choice to sit on the bench. Pop took him out cause he said it was obvious he wasn't able to give 100% cause of the injury. Don't try to act like it was Kawhi just making a decision not to play. What a dumb question..

    • @olegp3671

      KawhiNot21 overall? Possibly, harden is clearly better on offense (both in scoring and running an offense) while kawhi has him easily on defense

    • @Flyzo.0
      @Flyzo.0 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      David Doe that arguement isn't valid because they have different styles d'antoni is mainly offense but pop focuses on everything. You obviously don't watch enough kawhi to know that they are basically the same when it comes to shooting . You can't also put a whole side of the court and say "he just a better defender " and go on the other side of the fourth and say "he's a better driver , passer" .

    • @Flyzo.0
      @Flyzo.0 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      David Doe I can give u many things kawhi is better at than harden at offense . 1. So much better foot work 2 post game strong 3 post fade strong 4 rockets only shoot 4 midrange shots a game MIDRANGE IS BETTER. 5 kawhi is much bigger and your reason about him being better a driving is wrong ,because d'antoni has a certain play style that makes anyone that plays for him drivers. Also people that play for him are going to score a lot per game ,because of how inflated dantoni's coaching style is.

    • @daviddoe3589
      @daviddoe3589 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      KawhiNot21 you know when someone starts saying a coach is the reason a player is successful then they're just struggling to come up with things. Maybe if you are just a role player a coach can make you better than what you are but when you are a top 5 player in the world you have to give credit to the player, seriously you're trying to somehow say harden is only good at driving because his coach? Harden is possibly the best driver in the league and the credit goes to harden for that, don't talk about how he is in a system that allows him to put those numbers, kawhi could never average double digits assists no matter the system. Also just because harden doesn't take mid Rangers often doesn't mean kawhi is better at it, go look at some games from last year and you will see harden has a very good mid range shot, you also say mid range is better than three which is completely false, one gives you two points and another gives you three, pretty simple.

    • @Flyzo.0

      @ryanfitz3267 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brandon-Marcel Frederick Stafford the point is that yes, skill wise lebron is on jordans level, but last time I checked being the best is more than just skill. You gotta be skilled and have the accomplishments to back it up. And let me ask u this. Who was more clutch? Who was the better winner? And I'm sorry but lebron is not a better defender than Jordan. The numbers, accomplishments and eye test back that up.

    • @omieg89
      @omieg89 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ryan Fitz the eye test does not back it up for me. When I see Lebron, I see a player that can make a team a contender all by himself. I don't see the same thing when I saw Jordan. Don't get me wrong, if Jordan has the appropriate help then he can definitely contend. And also Jordan defended players that were more deficient on offense so he will look like a better defender when he guards Dumars/Steve Smith/ Reggie Miller and then Lebron guards KD/Melo/Butler/Kawhi/ PG13.

    • @ryanfitz3267
      @ryanfitz3267 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      omieg89 I see your point but to me all that matters is the end result. Yes lebron can make teams contenders but he has never won a ring by himself, he's always had at least 1 to 2 all stars on his team when he won. Soon as Jordan got an all star to play with him he won. The notion that lebron does everything by himself is annoying, I'm not implying that your saying that but a lot of people like to make it out like lebron never has help. In the end has lebrons so called ability to make a team an instant contender led him to more wins than Jordan? The answer is no

      I actually disagree, i think him doing it this much shows how desperate he is. Also he isnt using straight facts, he relies on subjective information and deflects from objective information. He says MJ isnt a better scorer when thats one thing that even the sternest LBJ goat fans give MJ because its true. 10 scoring titles and the most ppg all time (even those # got lowered by his Was days) so he has to make excuses up. LBJ is the better def is blasphemy seeing as MJ made 9 first team all def, a sec team all def, def player of the year, 3x steals leader and top 3 all time in steals in almost the same amount of games as LBJ. He says MJ didnt have better accolades as Kareem which isnt even true and Kareem played 20 years with 1 reg season MVP being the only accolade that he has over MJ. So again Nick is trying so hard to twist the narrative to suite the outcome he wants when leaving opinion out 100% and looking at only objective facts it shows why MJ was the GOAT and still is

    Jordan played about 1/3 of his playoff games from age 33 to 35 when he was clearly past his prime. This heavily deflated his career playoff stats. When you compare early/prime years (age 21-32), MJ leads in everything except rebounds and only 0.3 less assists, all while playing better competition.
    *Scoring*
    Jordan was clearly the superior scorer. Nick is nuts. He has a record 10 scoring titles to LeBron's 1. Jordan has a record 5 different playoff series averaging 40+ ppg to LeBron's 0. He also averaged 33+ ppg in 3 different NBA Finals, a tied record with Shaq and Jerry West, to LeBron's 1. LeBron did it in the 2015 Finals, while taking 33 shots/game on under 40% FG.
    This is also without factoring in more favorable rule changes in the post-Jordan era, as Jordan at age 38 put up 25-6-5 in 2001/02 before his injury for 46 games. Tracy McGrady was the only player to average at least 25-6-5 by the end of the season.
    *Rebounding*
    LeBron is definitely a better rebounder. He averaged 11 rpg for the entire 2015 Playoffs, whereas Jordan only had double digit rebounds in one playoff series, the 1997 ECSF with 10.2 rpg.
    *Assists*
    Jordan had the disadvantage of playing in the triangle offense which is designed to limit assists for perimeter players, but still has a near identical assist:TO ratio. Needless to say, Jordan's assists would go way up in a pick and roll or drive and kick offense like LeBron's teams, and most certainly while playing easier competition.
    When Jordan had more control of the playmaking, he averaged 11.4 apg in the 1991 Finals, the highest by anyone in the Finals not named Magic Johnson. LeBron has never averaged double digit assists in any playoff series
    Up to 1993, Jordan averaged 6.6 apg in the playoffs, whereas LeBron averages 6.7 apg for his playoff career. Even with LeBron being in his prime, having more control of the playmaking, and playing way easier competition, he only has 0.1 more apg.
    *Defense*
    Jordan crushes LeBron defensively. Even as a Wizard, Jordan was better on defense before his injury compared to almost all of LeBron's years on defense. Jordan played elite defense in 6 of 6 NBA Finals, whereas LeBron played adequate defense in only 1 of 7 NBA Finals in 2013.
    LeBron was outscored in the Finals by Tony Parker 2007, Jason Terry 2011, Kevin Durant 2012, all of whom increased their ppg and FG%. In 2014, he was outplayed by Kawhi Leonard over the final 3 games, and in 2015 he allowed Andre Iguodala to double his scoring average on more efficient shooting, and allowed Barnes to shoot over 50% on LeBron despite shooting 37% for the overall series. Green also exposed him in the 2016 Finals. 2013 was the only good defensive Finals he had and he still had trouble guarding Kawhi Leonard.
    *Clutch*
    Playoff game-winners/tyers with 25 seconds or less
    - Jordan 10/19 (53%)
    - LeBron 8/23 (35%)
    Finals game-winners/tyers with 25 seconds or less
    - Jordan 4/8 (50%)
    - LeBron 0/5 (0%)

    At age 32, Jordan's stats were 32.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 2.7 steals, 1.0 blocks, 3.0 turnovers .514 FG%, .845 FT%.
    Lebron is now 32 years old. His stats are 27.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.8 blocks, 3.4 turnovers, .501 FG%, .740 FT%.
    So what does Jordan do better than Lebron? He is a significantly better scorer (5 points per game), he shoots a higher percentage from the field and significantly better from the free throw line, he looks after the ball better (fewer turnovers), and he is a better defender (more steals and blocks).
    Lebron is a better three point shooter, and averages approximately 1 more rebound and 1 more assist per game than Jordan. That's it!
    Jordan's peak (1988-93) is so much greater than any other player in NBA history. That is why he is the Greatest of All Time.
    Over the next few years Lebron's numbers will decline, just like Jordan, just like Kobe, Bird, Shaq, Duncan.

    This guy is arguing Jordan isn't a better scorer, Jordan has 10 scoring titles!! Lebron has 1! Jordan is a better shooter and more clutch. Jordan accomplished everything Lebron has x2 in less time. Defense? Yea Lebron can guard 1-4 but he's a jack of all trades, he can't lockdown anyone. Jordan can lock down 1-3 and is an overall better on and off ball defender. Lebron is obviously a better rebounder (due to his build) and passer. Lebron will never be the winner Jordan was.

      There are lot of what ifs in the jordan lbj argument, but one thing that Wright always argue is that the Bulls won against the bad boys when they were old and passed their prime, and he praises lbj for winning against the Pistons, the 6 time conference finalists. It is easy to check how old were the starting five of the bb Pistons in 1991, how old were the Pistons in 2007 and how old were the Celtics when lbj broke down, and the next year when he came from 3-2 down to win against he celtics. These are the facts that can be checked, not just what ifs. There is so much more to be said in Jordan's favor, and there are some things not being said in LeBron's favor. These tv hosts never mention those things. However, I understand that it is not their job to be right, their job is to keep the audience interested. This is why some of them get payed millions, not for their knowledge.

It's stupid for a guy to speak eye test when he didn't see both. All he has is stats and just like Curry in the Finals you see what these sugar coated stats mean when physicality and intimidation is added to the mix. Everybody has a plan until they get hit in the mouth. Let's stop having this argument and watch Lebron do his thing in his era. Goat or not. But let's also stop the stupid perspectives of uninformed apologist for Lebron and this super soft era for men in this country.

    LeBron is not a better shooter than Jordan and was not better in the paint than Jordan. LeBron is not as skilled around the basket as Jordan. Jordan would double and sometimes triple clutch through traffic and finish with an insane layup. LeBron doesn't have that kind of skill mid air. Jordan dunked on more dudes. Jordan had better post game. Jordan was an elite shooter from 20ft and in. The 3pt shot was an afterthought in Jordan's era. And saying LeBron is a better defender because he can guard 1-5 doesn't mean anything. First of all LeBron always gets beat by 5s when he guards them. Secondly, Magic could guard 1-5 but he was an average defender. Jordan was a better perimeter defender I don't think it's that close, LeBron being bigger is a better interior defender. LeBron doesn't have to deal with dominant centers that were around in Jordan's era. LeBron is a more gifted passer, but Jordan doesn't get enough credit for his passing ability. In terms of LeBron taking less shots per game while averaging only 3pts less it goes back to the era and the 3pt shot. Advanced metrics actually favor Jordan. And if you have one game to play you're dumb if you'd pick LeBron, Jordan would not lose just because of his will to win. This dude is clueless but speaks with confidence to act like he states facts.

    There’s been a lot of noise lately about LeBron perhaps passing Jordan as the G.O.A.T. There’s no doubt that LeBron is all-time great - in my opinion, there’s a solid argument that he might land at #2 on that list. But when the numbers are laid down, sorry kids...it ain’t close. From a post on KSR:
    Jordan vs LeBron
    Updated after Lebrons 14th season. Michael Jordan has:
    •3 more rings
    •3 more final mvps
    •1 more DPOY
    •1 more season MVP
    •9 more scoring titles
    •3 more steals leader
    •3 more all defensive team selections
    •4000 more points / bron moved past him in playoff points, but it took him longer.
    •800 more steals
    •Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs (Lebron only defeated 10)
    •Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals
    Lebron did it twice
    •6/6 (never allowed a game 7)
    •Lebron had much more offensive help, example:
    Jordan never had a teammate average more than 22 points in the finals.. In fact, Mj is Only player in NBA history to lead a team to the championship with only one teammate averaging double figures in scoring
    * In the Bulls’ 1997 playoff run, Scottie Pippen averaged 19 points per game on 42% shooting. All other teammates of Jordan averaged under 8 points per game
    Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26
    •MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs
    •MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games..
    MJ accomplished all of this in 13 seasons
    Lebron after his 14th season, is still chasing the “ghost (GOAT) that played in Chicago”
    •Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg.
    (86 vs bos, 89 vs cavs, 90 vs philly, 92 vs Miami, 93 vs Phoenix, 88 vs cavs) Jordan won every one of those matchups except for the 1986 matchup vs the celtics.
    •Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line.
    •in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this.
    •the lowest FT% MJ ever shot in a season was 78%. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%.
    •MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3%
    •MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3.
    •MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9%
    •LeBron James has scored 30 points, 416 times in 1,117 games.
    Michael Jordan did it 562 times in 1,072 games.
    Jordan won 6 championships without losing a final in 1,072 games and LeBron in 1,117 games has lost 5 times and has only won 3 times (updated 2018)
    •MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year..
    •Mj also has more career blocks (893) than Lebron James (853) despite playing in 22 LESS career games and being the smaller guy.
    Also, MJ averaged 1.6 blocks per game in the 1987-88 season which is absolutely bonkers for a 6’6″ shooting guard.
    Seriously this list can keep going. This isn’t even a debate. Mj is the GOAT.
    MIchael Jordan:
    •NBA record 5 playoffs series’ averaging atleast 40ppg
    •Only player in history to lead league in scoring and win DPOY
    •Highest scoring average, points per game, in any championship series:
    41.0 vs. Phoenix Suns, 1993 NBA Finals
    •Only rookie in NBA history to lead his team in four statistics (1984-85)
    •Only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring, win Most Valuable Player, and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season (1987-88)
    •Only player in history to average at least 30pts 6reb 5assists And 2 steals per game AND HE DID IT 7 TIMES.
    •Only player in NBA history to win Rookie of the Year (1984-85), Defensive Player of the Year (1987-88), NBA MVP (1987-88, 1990-91, 1991-92, 1995-96, 1997-98), All-Star MVP (1988, 1996, 1998), and Finals MVP (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998)
    •Only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring and win the NBA championship MORE THAN ONCE in the same season
    * He did this SIX TIMES!! (1990-91, 1991-92, 1992-93, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98)
    •One of two players in NBA history to score 3,000 points in a season: 3,041 points scored in 82 games played (37.1 ppg) (1986-87)
    * Wilt Chamberlain is the only other player to achieve this.
    •MJ is also the only player in NBA history to score over 40 points at age 40, and he did it twice!
    •In 1988, MJ earned: Dunk Champ, All Star Game MVP, NBA Scoring Title, League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year.
    Michael in only ELEVEN complete seasons with the Bulls:
    -10 scoring titles,
    -Won Defensive Player of the Year,
    -9 times all defensive team,
    -9time All NBA,
    -5 league MVPs
    -6 finals MVPs
    All 11 seasons. Mj has done in 11 seasons things Lebron hasn’t done and won’t do in his whole career…
    Remind me again...who is the GOAT?
