Could you recommend a small excavator to run this head most efficiently? Cat 305.5 is capable of 3553 psi. I'd like to buy the head with the best machine.

Is the tak 260 the best excavator in that class of machine to run the 065?

Anything that is above 50hp and 14 gal/min hi-flow hydraulics and a lift capacity of 1200 pounds is ideal to run the DAH-065B
If I'm not mistaken, this was not even a recommended pair. Of course, if you are slightly below the requirement it can still work, but it's not going to be as efficient or powerful.
