Getting setup to install HardiePlank fiber cement siding

In this video I go over what I do to get set up for installing fiber cement siding. Including some of the tools needed to install fiber cement siding. My favorite tool for Hardie Plank siding is the makita jig saw with a carbide tipped blade, it lasts surprisingly long and makes short work of almost any kind of cut.

I’m a painter by trade but I like to learn from other professional craftsman. I plan on redoing all the siding on my house in a couple of years (after I get through remodeling the inside) and your videos will help tremendously. Thanks a lot for taking the time to put them out.
