      Simply by connecting them in series or parallel as per requirement. in my case series connection is used.

    What is the final output you are getting from the plant. I mean in terms of units generation. For me your solar plant is a perfect example of a good installation.

      Depends upon climate situation and panel cleanliness.. is range between 18-23 units per day.. Some time less than 18 also (cloudy/rainy weather)

    અમે 3KW ની સિસ્ટમ લગાવી છે. અને અમારા ઇન્સ્ટોલરે ELCB સ્વીચ લગાવવાની કીધું છે. તો ક્યા પ્રકાર ની ELCB સ્વીચ લગાવવી જોઈએ? કઈ કંપની ની સ્વીચ સારી અને બજેટ માં મળી આવે? અમારે ત્યાં પણ DGVCL નું જ કનેકશન છે

      ELCB ઘણી કંપનીઓ ની મળી રહેશે.
      L&T , Havells, Schneider વગેરે સારી કહેવાય.
      બજેટ તમારા ઘરના લોડ અને એના પરથી ELCB ના રેટિંગ ના આધારે નક્કી થાય.

    if suddenly total power wt is lower than home consumption , what what will happen ? - supply will take from electricity board or share both pannel and board current or home electricity will fail ??

      Exactly..
      If your generation of solar is less then demand, the power will be imported from electricity board.
      If your generation of solar is more then your demand, the power will be exported to the grid.
      Simple..
      No issues of power failure.. pls note if the electricity board power is not available the system stops working as inverter required reference voltage which is available from electricity board supply.

    Sir, i have question related to electricity units generated. We have installed 3KW system and it has been 18 days since it started working. I can see number of units generated at two points:
    1st is solar inverter (Company: FoxESS).
    2nd is Solar meter installed by my discom (DGVCL)
    But there is a difference in reading of inverter and solar meter. Solar meter shows less units than units shown by inverter. Right now the difference is of 5 units, but it is gradually increasing. So, why solar meter is showing less unit generation than inverter?
    As inverter is directly connected to solar panels, reading given by inverter shoul be accurate. Correct me i am wrong.

      Exactly.
      If you are observing solar inverter and solar meter reading they should be nearly same..
      If you are observing bi-directional meter (net meter) then there is difference in units.
      You may contact your Installer for future clarification.

      Depends upon various parameters.
      On an average 20-22 unit.. max upto 25 units I had got.
      Subsidies Gujarat government ke rules ke hisaab se hi mili hai..
      Mono achh rahega.. lekin cost jyada hai.
      Poly crystalline is also good.. koi issue nahi hai isme bhi.

      It is around 1.8 Lakhs..
      Yes.. many government discoms are providing subsidy on the roof top installation.

    what is the cost of this configuration and how much area is required to install 16 panels in rooftop . kindly provide the size of each panel .

      Actually cost depends upon many factors.. pls check in your local area.. ( government giving initiative in terms of subsidy. In Gujarat both government and central government subsidy is there.)
      The system shown here costs me around 1.94 lakhs (including structure cost and deducting government subsidy)
      Area required is approximately 500 sq.feet
      Panel size is approximately Height - 6.4 feet and width 3.2 feet and weighs around 22 KG.
