I can now make calls to any number from SIP, but I could not make the voice to work, no sound at both ends :P
@@BeeWaks sip under ALG should be enabled in ont and proxy ip in app should be entered in all.pls check that
yes i already did that, calls in and out are fine, but no voice 😂 may be its the router... idk what else to suspect
@@BeeWaks Are u getting voice when connecting a physical POTS phone to the router? I have a weird issue similar to yours, I have 2 set of FTTH one of them works as expected, second one the VoIP registers etc but voice is heard only when I make outgoing calls, incoming calls gets disconnected as soon as its answered. Local BSNL can't help, call center automatically closes complaint after 5 days.

I am not getting sound during call. What might be the problem as I am using a IP phone.

Do not bind any port for internet and voice
Make sure your voip configuration on ont status is registered, then go for sip configuration on mobile. Every things will be ok

On windows SIP is working using Zoiper5 but same config doesn't work on android phone using GS Wave or Zoiper. It gives error connection timed out. What changes we need to make while using SIP on mobile?

For people who have calls getting established but unable to hear voice, its an issue on the BSNL side of incorrectly configuring their NAT rewrite rules, the IP address of a non existent/inaccessible server is sent as the RTP server for voice during the SIP handshake, its pretty silly on their part, if you can capture the IP packets you can verify this information - but why would a customer know all this information and a service provider ignorant of BASIC NAT rewrite or it may be the ignorance and incomepetence of TATA communication whom I believe looks after the back end servers on contract. When you raise a complaint - they close it automatically after n number of days - atleast in good old days of copper wire the line man used to call and ask whether its resolved.

@@premkxksorry that I was not clear..No. analog phone, laptop, mobile all are same.. your device (laptop/pc/mobile/analog physical phone( connected directly to ONT)) that you lastly used for outgoing call will get incoming call. So you may use multiple device to make outgoing but incoming will be received by the device that is used for last outgoing call.. that includes physical analog phone and even hard ip phone

Please install pingtools app and try to ping sip server IP using ping option..404 is basically app is not.able to reach the server..

For those who cannot ping their voice server, try turning off all port bindings on internet as well as voice in network tab on router login page

Bro, I have old bsnl modem router dslw200-sy. Its working and not in use. I want to configure to make it as a REPEATER. Not as switch or access point, where I connect cable from primary to bsnl dslw200. I want dslw200 to plug somewhere within range of primary wifi to boost signals. Please help 🙏🙏

Sorry Aravind.. I don't have idea about jio as I haven't experienced..bsnl is good for me ..I. am using 50 Mbps speed..had 3 or 4 times line issue for few hours in 1 year...so good for me and in my location I don't have any other options other than bsnl 😁

Thanks for the detailed video. Using the steps mentioned in this video I am able make and receive calls on my laptop using Zoiper but the same settings are working on GS Wave. Account doesn't turn green and hence unable to use it on phone! Any thing needs to be changed while using SIP on android phone?

@@muthuvelk7036 After trying lot of things I was able to make calls using zoiper android app. But only first call after connecting to internet gets successful. Rest all calls have one way audio issues (no incoming voice). To overcome this issue I have reconnect internet or restart zoiper services. Any solution to this problem?

I have Two ONTs, One is Syrotech and another one is Netlink both have same UI like this. I tried both ONTs but this method is not working or some configuration is broken within the firmware. If anyone fix this please comment here to help.

What type of fiber optic cable brand used for outer drop out and modem model No kindly update price with installation charges
Fiber optic cable is managed by local operator which I do not have any idea. DBC ONT model number is "IGD" "Hardware Version V1.0" . ONT price was rs2300.00 a year ago. Installation charges various based on local cable operator. could be Free/Rs500.00/1000.00/1500.00 so on.. ONT configuration , you can use this video
