- Installing the Motology GPS Mount to my Yamaha Tenere 700 for side by side speedo and GPS.
This is a really easy install and makes seeing ahead when riding much better than when the GPS is mounted above the speedo.
I do not have bark busters and do not plan to fit them anytime soon unless I damage the stock hand guards but when the time comes, I will see if the bark busters fit as I know they are very close if they do not actually touch.

hi there, do you think a Garmin thread overlanf 8" would find space on the motology plate maybe almost touching the TFT in the middle with the antenna top right (steering handle bar) ?

unfortunately I think that even though it probably could be fitted to the plate, with the overland being 8” compared to the base edition’s 8”, there’s a possibility that the hand guards could strike the unit at lock, especially if you have aftermarket hand guards like BarkBusters. Im currently working away and am not home for another 6 weeks so can’t get you any measurements at this time sorry.
@@MALVSMACHINE if you remember after your time off maybe you can just comment our conversation so i can see it :) that would be great... I also think to set the whole couple a bit higher on the plate but i think the down parts of the two units will still be in the range of the hand guards.
