Thank u so much, the Book of Enoch was looked at as blasphemous cause of all the knowledge given to humans by the Angel's they shouldn't gave been given. I love the Book of Enoch , I learned so much about the earth and heavens and different Angel's. All the books that aren't added but are in the Ethiopian, are so full of knowledge ! I love all the descriptions he gives about everything. He noted it all !😊
Genesis 2 ;17 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” make sure to let everyone know this was the tree of knowledge of Good And Evil. Not just the tree of knowledge.
God wanted them do it. He made earth for them, and wanted them to take the final step. Gabriel showed Adam what would happen if he ate from the tree. God wanted to see if they would make a sacrifice for God . If they didn't then it would be a sin. They didn't sin till after they were casted out most likely.
He even placed it in the middle and made eve a curious soul. If you read and act like God is happy when talking to them you see what I'm talking about we just assume he's made .
Don’t forget that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil wasn’t the only tree in the Garden of Eden. The tree of life was there, too. I’d say that’s the reason Enoch was under a watchful eye.

Bro... Enoch is not just explaining random places. He's going to places to outside the boundary of lands we know. And the great waterfall leads into him describing Eden (not the garden OF Eden) but the land of Eden. So it's not just random spots that he's fixed on, these are all sacred lands that very few men have ever seen.

As I started reading the book of Enoch myself recently, these videos help summarize what I’m reading. Seems Enoch encounters different angels such as Zotiel and Phanuel
No offense but I can't help but shake my head every time you state that his locations are irrelevant and just attempts to make people praise God for nature. Enoch is clearly detailing the path that he traveled in his dream/vision from his location to the Garden of Eden. This isn't my opinion; this is actually what is happening in the book. He is telling you how to get from his location to Eden, at least to best of his knowledge.
I'm thinking Enoch alone? would have not been able to enter the garden in the first place with out a high ranking angel with him. as mentioned by the angel guard.
perhaps the writer here is trying to emphasize the wonder of the garden by showing the extreme beauty that stretches far beyond the garden gate... and there are many symbols here...flowing water represents the holy spirit and all this talk of sweet smelling things well that is indicative of praise and prayers or the righteous, is it not? sweet smelling savors etc and all that...valley of water is very interesting tho... and cinnamon as well... hmmm my brain will be tinkering with that symbolism for a minute this stuff is so good ♡my mind appreciates you

The Tree of Knowledge grants and represents divine knowledge ("they have become like God/gods"). But Enoch was receiving such divine knowledge in the story through his visionary tours of the cosmos. So there isn't really a temptation to eat from perhaps because Enoch is already receiving the fruit it gives. Interesting that in Mesopotamian king lists that resemble the genealogy of Gen 5, the 7th figure in the list (where Enoch is) is taken to heaven, shown divine knowledge and skills, then comes to earth and shares this with humanity. This is used in explanations of the greatness of the Babylonian civilization. Along with the kings having divine-human pedigree, which Gen 6:1-4 interacts with by teaching the wickedness of such a thing.

Ive hold the theory that eating the fruit was not the true sin. I think the true sin may have been where Adam tried to pin the blame on GOD by proxy when he responded 'the woman that you gave me'. Im curious to wonder, that if Adam and Eve had fessed up, taken responsibility, and asked for honest forgiveness... it would have been an entirely different outcome.
I agree! Because god already knew they’d definitely be tempted to eat the fruit and would eat it afterwards. Thus it wouldn’t make him upset, but got upset on how they blamed each other and God, both thinking about just themselves and to save their own skin. Ive hold the theory that eating the fruit was not the true sin. I think the true sin may have been where Adam tried to pin the blame on GOD by proxy when he responded 'the woman that you gave me'. Although the KJV enables readers to read the bible it is fundamentally flawed multiple areas and thus I recommend the Hebrew bible also known as the Tanakh for the most accurate translation as it is the most accurate I know of. either that or the possibly the Jerusalem bible for multiple reasons but I would recommend being cautious of such copies
