This was good to come across again. I found that removing all Search themes actually ramped up sales again. Couldn't figure out what was going on and then remembered I added in a bunch of search themes while on the phone to a google ads "expert"
do you think search themes are useful for feed only pmax campaigns? i want to try it, but since we cant measure its direct performance, its hard to consider and not sure if its even used in feed only. thoughts?
Hey hey, great question Joey. I'm honestly not sure. I haven't seen a huge impact with them on regular PMAX campaigns just yet, but we also don't do too much with product feeds, so that's a bit out of our wheelhouse. Might be worth a before/after test to see how it does. I'd definitely be interested in whatever findings you come up with!
