If he has the talent start him. But I don't want him to be another Jeff Okudah who didn't succeed because imo he got thrown to the wolves and corner back in general has a bit of a learning curve.
Beat place to learn as a young rookie, is gettin' on that field and gettin' your feet wet!

Yes that would mean he earned the spot.
I know Arnold is really good, but he has to learn the ropes against these veteran WR's. So if he shows that he's number 1 over Davis in camp or at the beginning of the season, make him 1, but if not, make him 2 into next year. Ennis can be 3 as I think he's gonna come in and be better than Amik. But Amik is still good to have in are corner.

Lions QB Depth Chart is still OB1 Jared Goff, QB2 Teddy Bridgewater (if Jared got injured), QB3 Hendon Hooker, Nate Studfeld gets cut. With 31 yr old Bridgewater only a phone call away it allows the Lions to only have to carry two QB's which is genius.
The breakout player on the Lions squad is going to be Arnold, and Jamo
Think Antoine Green could have a breakout year, he's had some very positive comments recently

Jack Campbell bout to go 120 tackles, 2.5 or more sacks, and 2 Ints. Gibbs is going over 1000. Jamo is getting 930 yards or better. And I truly believe Hutch can get 20 sacks and win DPOY. So any of these guys could be the best breakout.

Yes i think that they will pick another S to the team. I really think so.
My opinion for sione vaki is to have both him and Craig reynolds on the roster. But Craig at rb3 and then put vaki as a saftey on the roster. This way we still fill out the true saftey room and add to that because that is what he played in college and we need a little more depth at saftey. This benefits the team cause we keep a decent rb3 then have vaki be a great special teamer and a backup saftey while also being able to play rb if needed depending on injuries. Vaki is the best of both worlds and very versatile so let’s use it
I think DPJ is WR3 and Vaki is gonna be used on both sides so that’s the 5th Safety

DPJ and Kalif will play WR#3 in certain situations. I think DPJ will be the first man up.
Branch will be #3. He's just to good at NB right now. I do see Branch as the future. Iffy will test free agency.
I love Lif. I just dont think he's gonna beat out DPJ on the outside. We know Amon-Ra is workin the slot and Jomo is on the outside. The other inside would be LaPorta. I just think DPJ would make more sense.

Lions said they would also use Wingo on the edge at times.

Im a beaver fan even though our teams are basically dead currently...i still am holding out a tiny bit for jefferson to stay healthy..he was a monster for us at oregon st.

Vaki can do a lot more different things than Craig Reynolds. That's why he just might win the job.
Derrick Barnes has improved but Alex is the man until he gets injured or Brad and Dan move on from him.
This dept chart is not correct on edge group you missed JAMES HOUSTON. Macus Davenport is not #2 Josh Pachal and John Comininsky are inside rusher . Mitchell Agude is from the practice squad , Betts is a UDFA . The edger rushers that will be on the right side are James Houston and Marcus Davenport, STOP POSTING FALSE INFORMATION.

we got some good problems to have!
I think with Goff not playing in preseason and such new chemistry with WR ...I'm a bit concerned. Reynolds was a good blocker and known commodity. DPJ and Greene never established anything last year. I think we are less than last year at least for several games (maybe even the bye week)
We lost DJ Chark the year before... he was better than Reynolds ...yet we were even more explosive and that was with Jamo missing 1st 4 weeks. Goff is too good to allow some 3rd string receiver slow him down.
He's earned that last few years.
I have 0 confidence Mosely will start and nor should he. Make him a rotational guy. 15-20 snaps a game and let these young guys feed off of his knowledge. Week 1 I say Davis and Arnold start with a nice rotation of guys to keep everyone fresh
