The Lions problem is the play calling. You cant have goff throwinf the ball 55 times in a game. We need to get back to what we are and run the ball down teams throats. Setting up play action. Goff is not the guy you want slinging the ball over 50 times in a game. Hes a great play action QB. You cant have effective play action when you don't run the damn ball. The good news is i know they will adjust and its not a talent problem. It has nothing to do with Reynolds. Do you want him throwing it 60 times? We need to be running the piss out of the ball again

@@solomo3456 Detroit Lions and I don’t know where your comment is coming from? You have to admit that Jared has to have particular situations for him to be good! Two or three things go wrong he falls apart, that’s just not good. I honestly believe unless something drastic happens, they will not be extending his contract or writing a new contract next time.
We dont have a possession receiver on the roster. Without an X, there are situations you cannot afford to end up in as an offense, like 3rd and long, like playing from behind. We have an excellent slot, great deep ball guy, and a tight end, but none of those guys have the body type to catch that outside comeback, or that contested slant pass, which Ive now seen multiple guys fail to do in the first two games.
They didn't pay him because he missed those catches in the NFC Championship game that would have guaranteed a win so they were down on him and I was too. But I did have that fear that Goff might miss him on 3rd down because he came threw alot in those situations.
Reynolds was almost always dependable. He had a bad game e against the 49’er, but I thought it was a major loss not resigning him. He was picked up immediately when he hit free agent market
@@tlew137 Yeah it was a major loss but I understand the Lions not resigning him also because he literally cost us a trip to the Super bowl because if he makes those routine catches that he makes with his eyes closed they win but he didn't so they were pissed maybe feeling like he can't cut it when it counts.
