That was Troy (flutes/whistles/Uilleann pipes guy) singing with Floor on the chorus…the Hellfest camera crew didn’t seem to realize he was even on the stage through most of the concert.

And, I have experienced this song live in my home country Estonia, and... merely thinking back to that experience gives me goosebumps and tears of joy 🤘🥲🤘!!!! Third: Kai's drumming is massive in this song. I remember the venue in Estonia (Pirita monastery ruins), the whole monastery just shook to its core...It was amazing to witness. Now the song: So ,... So I was fortunate enough to see them in NYC in May, having first discovered them in December thanks to a random YT reaction. I watched hundreds of them, and listened to tracks on Spotify, and more again on YT, and thought I was ready for the show. I was not. I was still stunned. I didn't know this song, and of course they played it. The part at the end was otherworldly, in a smaller, indoor venue. The drums sent a concussion wave through the air and I honestly don't think Floor needed a mic for it. With a mic, it was overwhelming, in the best possible way.
Agree, hearing them in person is so much more incredible than one can imagine! Saw them in Minneapolis, directly above Emppu on stage right. Felt like I was there on stage with them, got to see every expression and bead of sweat on Floor and Emppu! She makes all of the vocal acrobatics seem effortless !

Kai hahto is one of the best technical drummers of the world. The Album is also awesome. The production is of this planet. And also the lirics are fantastic. The new basist is probably gonna sing in the future I heard. Troy is the backup singer at the moment. He's playing more on his E bow guitar. Sounds fantastic.
About Floors tattoo’s, most of what you’ve seen is from Wacken ‘13 I think and she didn’t haven them yet. Where you wondered about is it a voice or a guitar, it was Troy playing his guitar with an Ebow Troy is also the second voice, just like the album version of this song.
Oh yeah, the new guy has just been announced as a full member of the band before they started the South American leg of their tour and hopefully he wil also start doing some of the singing like he did in Wintersun

They inspire such a deep passion in so many, as witnessed in the throngs of the Nightwish Army who flock to reactions. Proud member of their Wisconsin, US division. Don't think you have done a reaction to She is My Sin yet. Grab one of the live concert versions with Floor. Agree that the vibe is still familial between them, even missing Marco. Bassist is Jukka Koskinen, who was just recently announced as a permanent member of band since coming aboard in March 2021 as a session bassist for their ongoing Human Nature tour. Saw them live in May in Minneapolis, it was a transcendent experience. Floor doing the vocal acrobatics of Shoemaker live was beyond incredible to hear. They all seemed very happy to be together doing their Nightwish thing, and we all were overjoyed to be a part of the magic.
If I am not mistaken the first "show" the did with the new bassist Jukka, was the digital show during the pandemic. There he was really nervous. Now you can see that he is much more comfortable on stage.

I am a late NW fan, only presented to them 5 years ago. I attended my very first NW show last Friday here in Brazil, I am so happy and complete now, and I can tell you, that when that "Laudato" part begin, Floor's voice cross the whole venue and reaches our soul hard, and then you feel yourself very blessed, peaceful and filled by a positive vibe.
That "Laudato si" part did something I've never EVER seen happen at ANY Metal concert before that I've been to: It got so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. Whole venue seemed to be holding its collective breath.

Also for doing the whole show in one video: Don't worry about length (we're Nightwish fans. we casually listen to 30 minutes pieces of music, after all :P) but be careful with copyright if you try this. (Especially the channel that streamed the concert can be a bit of a pain when it comes to that.)
Troy was doing the backup singing. He has a pleasant voice, but not suitable for all songs. The new bassist, Jukka Koskinen, has sung for Wintersun. I think they're bringing him along slowly, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him singing with the band any day now. As for Marco, he's still singing, albeit not with Nightwish. And yet, in the fullness of time, all things are possible.
I think they cut it too short. Ghost Love Score was 10 minutes. But Floor standing a full 6 feet 4 inches with arms outstretched as she sang the tribute to Eugene Shoemaker a capella in her high octaves was one of the greatest spectacles I have ever seen in Symphonic Metal. All Hail the Valkyrie Queen of Symphonic Metal!!!
Floor said she needed about 30 tries to get this song right for the album and they all thought it will not be on a setlist (too hard for live). But fans took action, some "light" pressure and this ending is always the time to whip out phone, press record and stop breathing. You might want to check the official lyric video, it's gorgeous.
I saw this one at the Helsinki ice hockey hall concert. I sat directly opposite to the stage on bences, high up. At the ending, only Floor and Tuomas behind her were on the spotlight, with the lunar video backdrop and I swear I was being transported to another dimensional plane during Floor's last notes. 😅
You should see her sing "Vilja, o vilja" from the dutch TV-program Beste Zangers. She actually don´t speak german (even if it´s quite close to duch language), but she sing this beutiful song in perfect german.

Most of the songs you've heard were from Wacken in 2013 before she had Tattoos on her arms. Since 2015, she's been sporting more tattoos..... possibly being lead singer for NW and married to drummer from Sabaton she feels even more comfortable expressing herself.
I have watched this concert many times, love it. Floor is completely in charge, everyone following her. At the end some people are in tears. I am in if you watch the full concert! Kai Haito is the drummer joined the band in 2015. The new bassist is Jukka, forget his last name. Both were with the band Wintersun. Kai was a mentor for NW previous drummer Jukka, & why when Jukka left, Kai was invited. The new bassist was on contract, but in August was made permanent. Marko had made an overture about coming back around June, but that move seals Marko won’t be coming back unless something else happpens. I read Jukka does sing, but it hasn’t happened yet. Troy is backing up Floor, & did some when Marko was there. He is good but not a Marko.

I notice the questions you have asked have been answered Troy is doing a lot more vocals and he's excellent but has a softer voice than Marco, I still miss him and love nightwish but it would be nice if they had a male singer with the rock rasp to his voice too. Amazed you've not noticed her tattoos before - she's had them for many years. Do yourself a favour - from this concert with the outro - Ad Astra. Don't worry about 1 min of blank video, when it comes back you get the bit that knocks me off my seat in this performance. Troy has played on albums since 2007, a full member since 2024 same time as Floor.
When Joey lets tou hear side 3 from Human Nature, do not stop... just listen to the whole side. Listen to it with your wife, it is that beautiful you'll want to share it with someone you love.
For the sound I have my desktop computer connected to an old fashioned stereo amplifier and a set of decent speakers. That is way better for your eardrums/hearing on the long run.

The new bassist is Jukka (not to be confused with original drummer Jukka). Jukka (rumor has it) can sing, yet he's not done so with NW yet. I'm sure Floor is happy to be 2nd tallest person in the band now.

So I was fortunate enough to see them in NYC in May, having first discovered them in December thanks to a random YT reaction. I watched hundreds of them, and listened to tracks on Spotify, and more again on YT, and thought I was ready for the show. I was not. I was still stunned. I didn't know this song, and of course they played it. The part at the end was otherworldly, in a smaller, indoor venue. The drums sent a concussion wave through the air and I honestly don't think Floor needed a mic for it. With a mic, it was overwhelming, in the best possible way.
Agree, hearing them in person is so much more incredible than one can imagine! Saw them in Minneapolis, directly above Emppu on stage right. Felt like I was there on stage with them, got to see every expression and bead of sweat on Floor and Emppu! She makes all of the vocal acrobatics seem effortless !

The new guy is Jukka Koskinen. His previous band was Wintersun. The same band the current Nightwish drummer, Kai Hahto, was plucked from back when Jukka Nevalainen retired.

Where you wondered about is it a voice or a guitar, it was Troy playing his guitar with an Ebow
Troy is also the second voice, just like the album version of this song.
Oh yeah, the new guy has just been announced as a full member of the band before they started the South American leg of their tour and hopefully he wil also start doing some of the singing like he did in Wintersun

Agree that the vibe is still familial between them, even missing Marco. Bassist is Jukka Koskinen, who was just recently announced as a permanent member of band since coming aboard in March 2021 as a session bassist for their ongoing Human Nature tour. Saw them live in May in Minneapolis, it was a transcendent experience. Floor doing the vocal acrobatics of Shoemaker live was beyond incredible to hear. They all seemed very happy to be together doing their Nightwish thing, and we all were overjoyed to be a part of the magic.
This full concert was in live streaming like many others of the festival.

If I am not mistaken the first "show" the did with the new bassist Jukka, was the digital show during the pandemic. There he was really nervous. Now you can see that he is much more comfortable on stage.
Endless chills during the whole operatic part, makes my heart so light and full of joy.

This is the first album that Tuomas wrote where Kai was the drummer. I think I read that Kai had to add some pieces to his kit……

I am a late NW fan, only presented to them 5 years ago. I attended my very first NW show last Friday here in Brazil, I am so happy and complete now, and I can tell you, that when that "Laudato" part begin, Floor's voice cross the whole venue and reaches our soul hard, and then you feel yourself very blessed, peaceful and filled by a positive vibe.
That "Laudato si" part did something I've never EVER seen happen at ANY Metal concert before that I've been to: It got so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. Whole venue seemed to be holding its collective breath.

Also for doing the whole show in one video: Don't worry about length (we're Nightwish fans. we casually listen to 30 minutes pieces of music, after all :P) but be careful with copyright if you try this. (Especially the channel that streamed the concert can be a bit of a pain when it comes to that.)

Troy was doing the backup singing. He has a pleasant voice, but not suitable for all songs. The new bassist, Jukka Koskinen, has sung for Wintersun. I think they're bringing him along slowly, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him singing with the band any day now. As for Marco, he's still singing, albeit not with Nightwish. And yet, in the fullness of time, all things are possible.
I think they cut it too short. Ghost Love Score was 10 minutes. But Floor standing a full 6 feet 4 inches with arms outstretched as she sang the tribute to Eugene Shoemaker a capella in her high octaves was one of the greatest spectacles I have ever seen in Symphonic Metal.

Floor said she needed about 30 tries to get this song right for the album and they all thought it will not be on a setlist (too hard for live). But fans took action, some "light" pressure and this ending is always the time to whip out phone, press record and stop breathing.

I saw this one at the Helsinki ice hockey hall concert. I sat directly opposite to the stage on bences, high up.
At the ending, only Floor and Tuomas behind her were on the spotlight, with the lunar video backdrop and I swear I was being transported to another dimensional plane during Floor's last notes. 😅

You should see her sing "Vilja, o vilja" from the dutch TV-program Beste Zangers. She actually don´t speak german (even if it´s quite close to duch language), but she sing this beutiful song in perfect german.
Kai Hahto is probably the best technical drummer you can find. His demonstrate videos are incredibly to watch.

Most of the songs you've heard were from Wacken in 2013 before she had Tattoos on her arms. Since 2015, she's been sporting more tattoos..... possibly being lead singer for NW and married to drummer from Sabaton she feels even more comfortable expressing herself.
I have watched this concert many times, love it. Floor is completely in charge, everyone following her. At the end some people are in tears. I am in if you watch the full concert! Kai Haito is the drummer joined the band in 2015. The new bassist is Jukka, forget his last name. Both were with the band Wintersun. Kai was a mentor for NW previous drummer Jukka, & why when Jukka left, Kai was invited. The new bassist was on contract, but in August was made permanent. Marko had made an overture about coming back around June, but that move seals Marko won’t be coming back unless something else happpens. I read Jukka does sing, but it hasn’t happened yet. Troy is backing up Floor, & did some when Marko was there. He is good but not a Marko.

The new bassist is Jukka (not to be confused with original drummer Jukka). Jukka (rumor has it) can sing, yet he's not done so with NW yet. I'm sure Floor is happy to be 2nd tallest person in the band now.
