Great video... It makes me smile that I'm not the only one wondering why people don't do things the right way at first.... The mud in the front wings comes as standard'ish.... When you swap the wiperblades.... please adjust the wiperarm in front of you... My OCD almost makes me buy a plane ticket and come and adjust it secretly at night 🤪🤣🤣🤣 Can't wait for the next videos 👍
To add some history. This car didnt belong to who i thought it did.. it passed through my hands but around 15 years ago.. great to see it still alive. I remeber who i sold it to, but no idea how long he kept before selling on...
Oh wow, that's very cool to know. If you sold it to a guy in or near Taunton then he still had it. This was at the poin5 of becoming a parts car when I got my hands on it so I'm happy I've been able to keep a phase 1 on the road for a bit longer.
Did the earth clean up also fix the warning for rear brske light bulb failiure warning??? Or does that still come up? The extra earth was fitted to resolve that error on S1 cars.. but if your proper repair has fixed that is well worth looking at.. Washer motors another common issue..
Once I stripped all the towbar wiring and cleaned the original earthing point all warning lights disappeared and no more disco lights. I did have a 'bulb out' issue a few months ago but that turned out to be a duff bulb so all is well.
It's been a while hasn't it 🙄 I'm actually slap bang in the middle my XM ECotY review video to finish that series off. Hopefully it'll be on the channel in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out 😉

Those disco lights are awesome, but I don't think they'll pass an MoT. You'll probably have to fix 'em.
Oh spoil sport! Thankfully it wasn’t so much fix them as remove rusty shite getting the way 😉
Great old car. Have fun.
Great work, lots of good wins! Cant wait for the welding
Cheers Alan. Yeah, bring on the welding (if it ever stops raining)
This is goofy and I love it
At least they work...😁😁😁😁👍
Yes, it's my fault.
I knew it!
Any chance of new video soon?
Funny enough I'm half way through making my final ECotY review for the XM so watch this space 😉
Well done, great progress!
Great update! You're getting there with the XM.
Cheers CJ. Right now it's feeling one step forward, two steps back but I'm determined to get this thing on the road!

Watching you on Kitchs stream yesterday, then watching seasides latest XM video has got me missing your videos, any possibility of a fleet update?
