I find myself in the same boat as Osiris and Toland. As a worlock I want to walk between the two orders to obtain knowledge and power. I want to walk between the light and the dark.
The type of warlock I am is the type that does things for good, to improve upon things. If I find use inside the darkness, I shall study then use it myself and maybe, if I deem it safe enough, teach others to use such power for the greater good

I have, and always will follow in the footsteps of Toland and Osiris. If you look at the Fallen you may note that they still fight with light, even though they appear to serve the darkness! The Hive, on the other hand, eat it and thrive off of it, even though they live in total darkness. I think that the Darkness, just as the light, is a tool to be wielded, only as good or bad as he who uses it. If one could harness that power, gain the same control over it that Oryx enjoys, think what godlike forces you could unleash! The ability to create and destroy suns! Control over life and death! Even the ability to Ascend, and create your own plain of existence! Nothing would be beyond your reach! This is the great temptation of the Warlocks, and one that I think will be the orders final Destiny.
You know y'all are fucked when Viking funeral and transcendence get patched right? I run all three classes, mainly my warlock actually, but I'll openly admit they're only good because of a few broken perks

Definitely with Toland. And if I had the choice to be a Light or Darkness Warlock, I'd definitely choose a Darkness Warlock. I main a Void Warlock almost exclusively, so having a way to get closer to darkness or void would be awesome.
Oryx had the power of Darkness, and he spent thousand of years grinding to get stronger. Then you came along, and not only did you yourself send him back to the ascendant realm, it only took six of you to wipe him from existence entirely. You've been back a year (I think that's canon), and you destroyed his son, his court, pretty much everything he had. The Darkness should be studied and understood, but I don't think it's as strong as the Light. I can't wait until we fight an ahamkara/worm. Now, that should be a good fight.
Cant wait for the hunter one! As a hunter main class i play my titan and warlock the same way, alone, free, happy, doin whatever i feel like. Im sure a lot of people would fit in with hunters, most of us dont have raid teams or trial teams and just play the game for what it is

I’m pretty sure the third order is called the Gensym scribes Asher mir in D2 is one of them to put this in perspective Osiris is also one of them as well Toland is more of an EXTREME thanatonaut he sought the power and life after death so much he gave himself to the hive and is now in the ascendant plane ikora in her young years was a thanatonaut while now she is a gensym scribe because of her wisdom and knowledge their are only two warlocks that I’ve actually found to be in the praxic order that’s Eriana-3 and taeko-3 (weird that their BOTH exos and BOTH have 3 at the end of their name) those I’m pretty sure are the three orders of warlocks while the titans have 4 and the hunters have well their subclasses i guess
You didn't mention Praedyth. Praedyth was a Warlock who was lost in time when de descended into the Vault of Glass. Now as a Warlock, I value knowledge. I want to learn. If I discover a power, I want to learn how to use it, however, if I learn a power and I find it to be consuming, I will advise against learning such power. You learn the power at your own risk, I am not responsible if you decided to wipe Commander Zavala or Lord Shaxx from existence (however I would find a slight joy to that event). Since I'm a loner by nature, I prefer to have the same independent nature as a Hunter, but have a purpose. And my purpose is to learn, to gain knowledge, to understand. That's how I am. I'll master a power, whether it be light or dark, and depending on the power, I may provide a word of caution, but I won't be held responsible for your actions with that power. That's the kind of Warlock I am.
most of the people in the tower view void users as users of the darkness, and crazy for using it. if a dark subclass is ever created, it has to be made distinct from the void.
I am a Hunter, but if I were to be a Warlock, I would either be a thanatonaut or follow in Toland's footsteps. Maybe affiliate myself with the Fallen. Although the Hive are incredibly interesting as well.

Actually the most strongest warlock is Chuck Norris, and his most notable act was when he roundhouse kicked the hive on the moon which caused the moon to break and made the hive go into hiding in their fortress.

Preface: For conversation sake let's call praxic warlocks "left" and thanatonauts "right". I'd have to say I'd be a right leaning praxic, we should focus on defeating the darkness, but we can't do that without knowing their weaknesses. Our research priorities should be finding new and better ways to fight our enemies and if we have time, by all means try to understand them. When I go and raid with my clan I'm all business, I often run the relic and I always remind everyone to be in the right place at the right time, even if they already know. But when things cool down and we're just messing around in the tower or doing the daily missions I'll tell about the lore behind the things we kill, why the fallen worship the servitors, why and how the hive have swords that beat guns, or how the gorgons stare you to death.(fun fact: they just think you out of existence) Knowledge may be power, but power is pointless without direction.
