Discuss how Indy and Lara are bad archeologists and how a crossover between them is the best idea ever. Throw in Nathan Drake somewhere in there, and maybe Nic Cage's Ben Gates for good measure.
Love the Sean Connery impression Julian! Great video, Archaeology has always interested me. When I was young I wanted to be an Archaeologist, because of Indiana Jones no less. Then I learned it wasn't at all like those movies. 😅
More Sean Connery and Indiana Jones video. We want a deep dive into places and unique artifacts. Since there are literally millions of peices already on display you can make a full time career showing the world the content of museums and reading about it and explaining its significance in context to the era it was made, who made it and the cultures surrounding it that may have influenced it. I.e. bronze required tin from far away be mixed with copper, the supply chain had to be maintained which is why x country is shaped the way it is and why z country cut off from tin lost the war
You haven't been keeping up with Seeker than, Shame. 😉 Julian has been here for years. I thought we lost Amanda for a bit there, but she has returned in more recent Seeker videos.
Good video but for the more visually inclined it would be nice to have some pictures in a box superpositioned over your head or beside it I guess that's the more proper way to display info.
If the sedimentary layers are different ages. Then where did the sediment come from? The truth is all of the layers are the same age. If you shuffle a deck of cards are the ones on top younger than the ones on the bottom?
The 'layers' are the physical evolution of the planet itself, our planet is a ' living' thing - what grows is alive. Soil , the layers, are the remains of once living plants, trees, mountain's that decay over time. That's how the lowest levels of earth/soil are an indicator of time.
Imagine ignoring the presenter in the video, the explanation of the science, and the well-spoken manner that it’s given for “bs world flood heavy sank lights floated creating different layers not different time levels”

You should cover the age of the pyramids as a follow-up to this.
Very interesting and controversial area.
Haven’t seen this presenter in a few years. All grown up!

The only way radiometric dating works is if you assume that decay rates have always been the same. Which is not knowable.

That's very true for a deck of cards. But sediment layers are simply not cards.

that is a bunch of BS due to world flood heavy sank lights floated creating different layers it is not different time levels.
Are you sure your name is Jeff Cook?

@kylekarnaz6875 It is a scientific fact that is how it works. Currents also classified and grouped bones together
@@jeffcook8501 world flood isn’t a scientific fact lmaooo you don’t know what “fact” means cuz to you it means “what I believe when I follow my heart”
