I did actually 😂 i got a 6.56 which broke my 6.67 pb....
Tried to without seeing the solution but nah Pb is still the same ,I honestly think that you cannot just break your pb when you receive a scramble from someone else other than a random scramble generator , atleast thats what happened to me and most others i think . You just can't know that your next solve will be a pb and thats what I most like about cubing 🙂.

Hey guys, I know that this isn’t huge news but I just solved my first Rubik’s Cube. :)
Update: It was a 2x2 that I solved. I am now pretty decent at 2x2 and 3x3, and I’m planning on getting a Pyraminx to start learning that :)
Another update: I’m now also planning to get a 4x4 and Skewb on top of the pyraminx. I haven’t timed myself on 2x2, but on 3x3 I average between 20 and 40 seconds. :)

Orientation/permutation of the last layer
oll and pll are both the 2 steps of of the last layer. oll stands for orientation of the last layer and pll means permutation of the last layer. oll is where you make the top face of the last layer, then pll is where you solve the rest. these can both be a 1 or 2 look process, meaning they can be done in 1 or 2 steps. pll has 6 2-look algs and 21 1-look algs. oll has 10 2-look algs and 57 1-look algs. these are both done entirely with algs, unlike f2l and the cross which are done intuitively. also if u dont know what f2l is its where u make the first 2 layers at the same time, meaning you get a pair of edge and corner pieces to go into a slot at the same time. and finally an x-cross is where you make an f2l pair whilst making a cross, xx-cross is 2 f2l pairs, etc.

If the last two F2l were done quite differently then you get an oll skip, DUDE THIS IS THE GREATEST SCRAMBLE

Time= 26.53 which is my pb by two seconds
i You insert the 2nd last pair with sledgehammer you get oll skip
That's the best ever Camara angle( for solves) ever seen in my entire life

But you still need skill to be able to perfectly utilize the lucky scramble

I was practicing 2x2, it was just an R U' R' U solve. I got about a 1.1 out of it because it took me a few seconds to even process the solution. Scrambles are... questionable

I didn't get a pb but a good solve (20 seconds) my pb is 11 seconds idk how but i remember i was practising for like 2 hours and was going really insane with my RS3M 2020 (setting 2 from loud click) (extra neodymium n35 1.1m 4 magnets per edge) (weight 2) (8drops) (600 solves after it and 15 days)
Edit 1- I know I practise a lot
Edit 2- it feels crunchy and stable and really fast

I have done this scramble 5 times and every time I have gotten a different scramble 😂
Fun fact: if you solve the third pair with a sledgehammer you actually get an OLL skip after solving last pair, I got a sub 10 second solve with this and I average 27 seconds 😅

i got the oll skip then an E PERM!
To make this even faster do intuitive F2L by doing blue red pair first then the next pair and after do 2 look oll and you get a PLL AUF
On the craziest scramble I've ever gotten by myself, I got a 9-second solve. To put this into context, I average between 17 and 19 seconds

Jperm I got an OLL SKIP while doing it because I did the third pair and the fourth differently and I got a OLL skip!!!😮
My reconstruction was the same untiilll the third pair. I faced towards the green side with the yellow on top and did U R U R’ U’ SLEDGE and for the last pair I turned to the blue side and did R U2 R’ U F’ U’ F. Then I got a OLL skip and normal PLL. 😊
I average around 15 seconds so I got 7 seconds on this but I bet it would’ve been like 3 seconds if the legendary JPerm did it!

a. yes i beat my pb with this scramble b. i did white cross. my solution was to sledge the red-green edge into its slot, then solve the squares. then i saw the green-orange pair, and solved it. used m moves to solve the orange cross piece, and it solved the red-bule pair, so i inserted it in to the back. then it was just normal pll and oll.
