When i saw the same set just the first version for just 166,05 euro in sealed perfect condition after a bit of bargain i bought it on the same day as the seller uploded the set i bought it just for 156,42 euros on 2024 october 30 i was really happy that i got my hand on this set! :)
It really is a beautiful set and one to keep with box if you can. I had to do the math on the euro conversion to Canadian Dollars 166.05 EURO = $247.31 CAD and you got yours for 156.42 EURO = $232.96 CAD. [SEALED] Nice, I don't know if I would want to open it up if I found one sealed with it getting to be almost 10 years old now. There are two different boxes that you can see on Bricklink.com that can help you figure out which box and set you got; there is one for the 2014 release and the one I have is the 2016 Reissue. The Reissue is going for AVG CA $281.02 on Bricklink.com but realistic it is worth at least $300.00 CAD. That would be 201.43 EURO... so you definitely got a good price.
And the box isn't closed by glue by tape with security black line tape thank you lego I brought a scale with me to see if its a scam or not and I checked for the tape
Fun fact the seller uploaded the same set 1year before for 264,64 euros on marketplace Ithought my self damn that was a great deal, not long ago I bought a 10248 ferrari f40 in used condition (it was built one time before) with box and with instuctions just for 115,48 euros what a steal the seller was a great guy he reserved it for me some people even offered him more money for it. The separatly packed the windshield without i need to ask I said to my self what an awesome man is this thank you Lord!
I even sniffed all of the packaging air knowing this air is from 2014 or 2015 can I ask you the mini cooper set first version it was produced from when to with month included because i'm curious as I know from 2014 august to 2015 the version one The version two from 2016-2019 april (i'm not sure in that one) And why do they release it they lego couldn't up the pace, is ther any difference than the box thank you!
Bricklink.com has the first MINI Cooper as 10242-1 and the second as MINI Cooper {Reissue} 10242-2. Both versions have 1077 parts. As noted there are different boxes... I now want to get one of the first boxes for my collection to do a comparison video on the boxes. Everything looks about the same. The "14769 Dark Green Tile, Round 2 x 2 with Bottom Stud Holder" have alternate parts on the reissue "4150 Dark Green Tile, Round 2 x 2" and little things... but not seeing anything to really note. I remember hearing some printing issue on one of the [12X] green parts with white lines "6191pb007 Dark Green Slope, Curved 1 x 4 x 1 1/3 with 2 Thin White Stripes Pattern" but didn't notice this on the Reissue one I have... so maybe they fixed this??
