The bank testified that Trump is a "whale" of a customer that they would love to do business with again. The claim made at the outset seems to be a deliberate ploy by those who wield influence over the legal system, motivated by their bias. As an immigrant to the US, I've witnessed the troubling trajectory of the American justice system. It serves as a stark reminder that if Americans remain complacent or even content simply because they dislike Trump or lack wealth, they may find themselves subjected to unjust punishments in the future. Perhaps you could be penalized simply for having $100 more than your neighbor, or because a local government official harbors personal animosity towards you. Such scenarios have unfolded in numerous countries around the world.

Interest is NOT cumulative, it does NOT grow by the same amount every day, it is Exponential. It is based on the total amount of the previous day. The longer it takes to pay it off, the faster it grows
Not true - interest is calculated based on the rate and the principal amount, and interest is not added to the principal amount. So, for example, today’s interest is calculated based on today’s principal, and added to the interest “bucket”, not the principal. Assuming no more money is borrowed, tomorrow’s principal remains the same, it’s not yesterday’s principal plus yesterday’s interest. So as long as the principal amount and the rate at which interest is calculated, the amount of interest each day/week/month will be the same in perpetuity. Of course, rates will change, and maybe not for the better.

falsifying a loan application is a crime. I'm not sure. What people don't get about this. It doesn't matter if you later payoff the loan
The banks ALWAYS do their own assessments of a property just as they do when you buy or sell a house. Kevin O'Leary said EVERY investor does what Trump did all over the country. NYC has the best of the best large banks. There is no way they would have loaned money without doing their own appraisals. The bank testified that Trump is a "whale" of a customer that they would love to do business with again. For example, I think my home is worth $500,000 but the bank thinks it is only worth $250,000 therefore, they will not loan me more than a certain percentage of what they think it is worth. Plus, the Trump brand was not even factored into his property value.
Luxury Property valuations are extremely subjective. Just admit you know nothing about real estate, especially luxury real estate.
If you pay the fraudulent load, most banks won't pursue it unless fhere are defaults and regual fraud.
@edgeprobability I'm in realeste and construction for luxury homes and big box retailers. Usually just the same as any property.
When it gets tricky if the upgrades or construction gets in the tens of millions. When people buy such properties, the resale value gets squirmy...because new owners will remodel the entire property or just demolish it...at least thats how it works in Palm Beach.but basically you just adjust for discount factor. The thing about trump is his appraisals fraudulent misrepresented of material fact.
And the valuation for his Mar a Lago is absurd. He is claiming 800 billion....which is absurd. People don't even like earing there...not seeing revenue...it's always empty.
So, basically his lawyers are saying the judgement is 'inconvenient' for Trump? 😅

Curious, do you know what the 8th amendment says?
@@IronskullGM It is a good point, but it has been litigated repeatedly. Absent an apparent abuse of discretion in imposing fines, appeals to fines are not generally reversed. Judge Engoran is certainly aware of the guidelines, precedents, etc that inform his discretion.
The right wing justices on the SCOTUS will probably ignore 240 years of history and give him at least a partial win. The are irredeemably corrupt.
I bet you any amount of money he’s kicking himself right now for not just staying out of politics completely. He wouldn’t have had so many eyes watching his every step.
Nah thrives on the rallies and crowds. He is so narcissistic that he needs to be adored and fawned over.
@@XHobbiesPrime that’s a fair point. The problem is that it spiraled out of control to the point where he thinks he’s now above the law.
All this scrunity of his dealings basically started with the Stormy Daniels hush money. Cohen started talking after his conviction.
he had no choice. vladdy owns him.
I wonder if this makes him despise Obama any more. I mean, it was that goading that, IMO, got him into this mess in the first place.
idk how he is not in jail! This is spit to the face of honest, hardworking Americans who get forgotten everyday.
He is the only one fighting for those same hard-working Americans.
He is our dear leader that we follow because we have no one else and because only he hears us.
You don't understand because you hold contempt for those same people.
@@TheEverFreeKinganyone using dear leader is definitely not mentally well

How can anyone who is forever so hopeless with money then be voted to lead the world's biggest economy (after the EU)?

“Trump steaks-the best University in the history of Casinos”
I won't believe that Trump has even one cent to his name until he takes a penny out of his pocket and puts it on the table and even then I would want the penny checked out by an expert to ensure that it wasn't counterfeit.
And it's just good business sense for companies to not risk 454 million dollars on Trump.
For that matter it's just good business sense for companies to not risk 5 dollars on Trump.
Yeah he was barred from Bank loans like permanently after he Made the whole Atlantic city bankrupt.
Have you ever seen the countless videos of Trump giving money to staff in various places, thanking them for their help - without knowing being filmed? He's a generous and genuine guy. Haven't seen a SINGLE video of Biden doing anything like that

4:38 Trump has said that part of taking big loans he can offer them half repayment and that is good. No one wants to bond him because he is not worth the risk
The Saudi’s game Jared Kushner $2 Billion. Why don’t Jared lend Daddy inlaw some money?
he maybe likes his hands attached to his arms?
I've wondered that too.
Ivanka's "pretty boy toy" is NOT in a sharing mood.
Cuz that’s not Jared’s money. It belongs to the Saudis. Jared is just the brilliant investor they have entrusted it with
Jared said he barely knows him, that he got coffee for him sometime.
