Brilliant bonus Christine episode just loving the everyday episodes, keep up the hard work mate your nailing it.
Glad you enjoy it! It’s crazy how much work it’s been doing a video a day. 😆
Everything you said about motivation, writers block, just getting started, it all rang true. Spent my whole life (starting at about 12 years old) in one shop or another. I call it therapy, my happy place. I'm 70 and still chugging along. Enjoy watching you work and hearing your wisdom nuggets. Thanks!
I appreciate you watching along! Thanks! Hope I can still go when I’m 70. 💪

Thanks! I’m working on it!
Little rust never hurt anyone ha ha….. keep up the good work
Except.. tetanus.. 😬
i love old hot rod boos
Hot rod Boos would be cool too. 👻
Yup, Evan! I'm glad these guards helped with the contour of your wheel well.
Thanks! I can’t wait to get them installed.
another great video
Appreciate that!
My brother sold my Grandfathers Plymouth Fury to a junk yard it needed a new head gasket. It made me so mad that he didn't let me know by the time I found out it was to late. At least you have a little something.
Yeah. It’s pretty frustrating. I am glad I have a piece of his car at least.
Wow everyday nice the Plymouth looking good coming along nicely like it ,now back to the Buick that car's really cool, always safety first I know,my go to grinder didn't have a gard on it,till the near miss no one got hurt but yeah it was found and put back on they don't come off ever any more. Well great video keep being safe, God bless and peace out
Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying! And yes definitely gotta keep safety in mind.
Enjoying the daily stuff.Routine bites hard sometimes but when you are sharing the daily it is a break in my /ones routine.Had a brew and watched your routine.Best break a had in a while.Thanks.Love the channel.👍🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸🫶
Thanks for hanging out with me!
Great video brother, a clean shop makes everything so much better. Have a great weekend .
Yeah! I feel like I can actually get stuff done now.
What a great Thursday Video, those springs look like they are perfect for the car now. I still cannot believe how well that quarter panel turned out considering you built it ENTIRELY from scratch from a design in your mind's eye! It will be interesting to see you make a mirror image of it for the passenger side. It's a pretty complex piece you created. Very IMPRESSIVE!
I’ve been actively avoiding making the other side. 💪 😆
I will not fall in love,
I cannot risk the bet,
Cause hearts are fragile toys,
So easy to forget.
The rear quarter looks like a cross between an Airstream and a suit of armor. You have your work cut out for you - great job so far.
Elfman is a lyricist for sure.
Keep them coming brother love the videos you make it look easy can't wait to see her in red paint
Thanks I’m doing my best!
That real panel came out great Brother 🇿🇦
Yeah it’s not too shabby!
Following along from the UK. Great content, very honest.
Awesome! Thank you!
I find that when I'm looking for stuff more than working it's time to stop and pick up the shop😊
I’m scatterbrained so I just work and make messes on messes until I can’t stand it any longer. 😆
Thanks!
Thank you! That’s super kind of you! Everything this car brings in on TH-cam will go right back into it! So your contribution is much appreciated!
@ You're welcome! I wish it could be more, but I will thank you again sometime.. I love your project, I've been hooked since Your full body swap recap randomly popped up in my recommended
I appreciate that! I’m glad that video got so far. Made me a ton of new subscribers. Which I greatly appreciate.
Enjoyed the videos every day bud
I’m committed now I Will watch whatever 👌
Ah! Thanks! Glad I tricked you into watching! 😆
@@RottenBuick You got me brother
Your a Genuine guy 👌And easy watching
I once had hundreds of vintage car magazines twenty years ago,...one of those magazines of rod and custom sort of reminded me of a particular mag I had then. Also, the cut and butt technique, you may be the first one I heard explain it thoroughly instead of just showing afterwards, or so it seems to me. I instinctively did this technique back in the early 90's when replacing floor pan sections,...patch work.
They’re full of good ideas and out dated tips. 😆
Отлично получается у вас талант. Вы настоящий мастер
Thanks you!
Yeah I get the family dynamics of greed masked as help. My great grandfather had a huge single cylinder gas engine for a sawmill. I used it with him and I would have loved to have it but helpful family scrapped it all. So I get you.❤❤❤
Yeah, I don’t know what goes through people’s heads sometimes.
Oooh Yeah!!!!
Yeah!
Great work, as usual, i finally remembered to subscribe, Mark, UK.
Ah! You got in just in time for me to thank you in the video! Thanks!
Looks good buddy
Thanks, I'm getting there!
I just got home and watched the last 2 vids. Then you post another one. lol Your a hard man to keep up with.
You're*
Yeah. After tomorrow it’s back to normal. I don’t know what possessed me to do a video a day.
@ Keep em coming. I'll try to stay up to date.
Yeah!! Love oingo boingo love the Elfman's, if you haven't seen The Forbidden Zone I would suggest watching that!!
I haven’t seen it. I’ll check it out.
@RottenBuick it was written by Richard elfman and he stars in it and Danny elfman and Richard both do the music for it it also Stars Richard elfman's wife and tattoo from fantasy Island
I will definitely watch it
jajaja, imposible aburrirse contigo, aparte aprender mucho, muchas gracias
Thanks. Glad you’re along for the ride.
cool
Thanks
One way to control tank fumes is to plug off one end of a short length of an appropriate diameter rad hose & clamp it over the tank filler neck. remember to plug off all the vent & fuel lines as well & you should be golden. A set of air shocks would nicely handle any height issues or excess softness you might run into later.
Yeah I usually never weld around fuel tanks if I can avoid it. This one is dry. Thankfully.
WOOO, Oingo Boingo!!!!....Dead Mans Party, Private Life, Goodbye Goodbye, No One Lives Forever, Weird Science, Who Do You Want to Be and Gratitude.
They’re super talented.
Those cutting wheels will sure get ya, I almost cut my index finger off once which was kinda funny seeing it on X-rays having a perfect cut through the bone 3/4 of the way through.. if I had had the guard on the grinder it wouldn’t have happened, but silly me still don’t use the guard and have been cut several times sense 😂
Yikes. Ive messed myself up pretty good a time or two..
@ , It gets really exciting when they get caught in your shirt , yeehaw lol 😂
Dont forget Oingo Boingo in the Classic movie Back To School Dead Mans Party!!!
Never saw it. 😬
@@RottenBuick definitely need to watch it
Ow! Right in the tooth!... Nope, still not sick of your everyday vids.... I guess you'll have to try again tomorrow.
Thanks! Another one on the way. Shew. They’re crazy tough to keep up with.
Comment my comment in the comments section! You’re helping motivate me to get back in the garage! Thank you and keep it up!
Thanks for watching. I love getting to work in the shop.
Dont do it just becuase somebody pointed it out. Take the guards off if you wand to. Just make sure you always where gloves and safety glasses. Ive had the guards removed from all of my cutting tools for years. It actually makes it safer cause i know the guards are not there so i am more carefull how i use them. It also makes me more mindfull to wear my gloves and glasses.
I definitely always wear my gloves and glasses. 💪
Maybe considering in investing in a clip-on mic? To cut down on the echo and voice fluctuations when you try to film from a distance, not facing the camera narrations etc?
I bought a mic. The iPhone update no longer allowed it to connect. So now I plan on buying a camera/mic setup another TH-camr I know uses. It’s in the works.
8:05 The eternal problem for creative individuals. Sometimes I just tell myself to stop trying to plan, stop overthinking, and just do something. If I'm working on the car, I'll just start loosening a bolt that needs to come out and see where I go next, Writing, I'll just let my mind go and start typing and somehow the sentences flow out. Same goes for everything else: Drawing and painting, tailoring...sometimes you've just gotta do a Luke Skywalker and switch off the targeting computer and use the force !!
Yes. I struggle with motivation sometimes. And sometimes I don’t take my own advice. 🤦♂️

Te perguntar, você vai deixar igual ao carro do filme Christine? Com as rodas originais? Pneus faixa branca? Calotas cromadas ? Pois se fizer assim ficará muito lindo. 😮
I plan on it.
Listening to Oingo Boingo while installing springs? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ha. Didn’t even put it together.
Hey, did you ever try tracking down your grandfather’s car? Like the guy that bought it , Maybe you can still find it
Nah. Kinda just let it go. A lot going on with that situation. Unfortunately.
Get some knee pads Chad! Good callout about health and safety. Welding up the wheelarch feels like a milestone being reached.
Yeah I should probably invest in some.
sorry books

I’m my problem. The solution is to get rid of me. 😆

Let's see you do better, put up or zip it.
