I could watch the reconstruction of panels from scratch all day long. The heart of Vehicle restoration- well done matey! Terrific work and what a lesson for everybody 10/10
Cryptozoology and cars. Two of my favorite topics on one channel!
Two of my favorite subjects as well actually.
Really enjoy your videos. You are becoming the "Bob Ross" of old car revival. Always a positive outlook, no mistakes, just "happy little accidents" which can be fixed later.... no problem. Thanks for your effort to keep us engaged and entertained.
I appreciate that. You’re not the first person to say that! I wouldn’t have ever guessed I’d be considered a positive person. But hey! I’ll take it!
What a terrific hood ornament the Pterodactyl would make.
A little big maybe. 🤔
Christine, batwing Buicks, drop top Lincoln, and some flavor of pterosaur. How can ya not love this unique and always interesting garage, fabricator, and channel?
Speaking of Lincoln.. I need to roll that thing back and get to work on it.
It gets better and better every day, I am amazed to be honest.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🦕
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Chistina csda vez mas bonita exelente trabajo💪💪👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Man that car has some nice body lines. Those car designers were definitely artists back then. Great progress.
Yeah they certainly did.
Keep her as original as possible....she's beautiful the way she is.
We’re a little beyond that now. 😆
Red Primer! You always get to where you're going in these videos. That car will be a Beauty again one day.
Hopefully. 🤞
Thank you for the great content, cant wait for the day you cruise this fury....chuck 63 and a mopar forever guy....dang it im getting old, hurry.
Thanks for the support! I’m getting there.
@@charlescroson9009 Can totally relate!
Nice work brother! 👍
Thanks man! 🙏
Man, busy week! 8razar8 stole my thunder… great vid, and I didn’t spot the rat either! It’s enjoyable watching you do the work you’re doing and explaining as you go. I think I’m gonna get my welding tools out this week and get after some work I’ve been neglecting/hesitating. Welding has never been my thing, but I do it when I have to. You make it look like it’s second nature, but I realize it takes practice!
Thanks! ‘Looking forward to the next.
I’m certainly not the best.. but at the first shop I ever worked for the manager told me “you’re not afraid to try anything”. Well.. when it comes to work. 😬
@@RottenBuick 👍 You get really good results
There ain’t nothing wrong with the way you do things, it’s art and every artist sees things different and do things different .. I got to old ford trucks I need to get started on, I may start a channel using them for content, it’s gonna have to warm up though cause I don’t have a garage.. Hopefully the dinosaur project goes smooth 👍🏻🇺🇸
I love ford trucks!
Dang, I did not find the rat, well played, great vid though👍
He’s super tough to find in this one.
I am really digging the concept of the car, you have the plan she’s going to, I like the car Christine, my 2 boys would watch the vhs tape before they could read, have a great day and football 🏈 Sunday. Your friend Brian.
Thanks! I remember watching it when I was a kid too. 😆
Hello, speaking directly from the interior of Brazil! I really like your videos, especially on Plymouth! Success
@@brunoduel thanks!
I am digging the progress on the Plymouth, gonna be one of my next projects soon.
Awesome!
Enjoying the journey.
Nice progress today. Your creation of that curvy full quarter panel from scratch still amazes me every time I see it.
It’s something. I learned from it. For sure.
Loving the videos! Keep them around + - 30 to 45 minutes. Easy to watch and keep up with the progress. The fast forward is great...
Right on. Thanks!
First, Saturday morning (uk 04:47 am)
Second, Friday (11:52 am) nice watching with you.
Enjoy! I think. I hope… 🥴
I thought I was tripping at first when the head pooped up😂. The owner made the right call asking you to fix the pterodactyl as you have the talent and skill.@@RottenBuick
Thanks. I’m looking forward to fixing it. I really enjoy that sort of weird stuff
I always used white primer because whatever paint you lay over it pops perfectly
Makes sense.
25:33 With a bit of paint you can really see it coming together…. Nice
Always helps visualize things.
Amusing.Enjoyed that.Christine and all.👍🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸🫶
Glad I could entertain!
Little paint makes the curves look much better!
Helps a lot
Thanks for another , Brother
Thanks for watching!
I think what you've done is above and beyond what 99% of people would do. That Fury really was scrap so no one can say anything bad about what you've done.
Daily dosage if you can keep it up. We love it.
I’ll do my best. I’m always working on stuff.
20:28 I'd love to see the whole car in matt or satin black. it would look really sinister!
You’re not wrong. I’ve seen them in black. They look tough.
American Wedding! Focus! Focus! Focus!
Haha, nice one! getting your moneys worth out of that disc! Mark, UK.
Down to the bitter end.
The factory plastic lenses of that era is very high quality, I would also take time to carefully repair them.
"Look.
How funny he works, he's got brand new wiper blades on a busted window screen." Looking forward for the road trip stuff.
Me too!
One thing for sure is she's prettier than when you found her
That was a pretty low bar to beat I think. 🤔 😆 thanks! It’s been fun. But I’m itching to drive it now.
👍👍👍
💪
Hey bud You have to look up the guy that made the Green Goblin replica truck from maximum Overdrive if he does shows near you and when you get your Christine done Be cool to see them too sitting together keep up the good work
Yeah I’ve seen him pop up on the internet here and there.
Keep it red just like Christine
Hey at least you're replacing the metal with metal and not chicken wire and bondo like a bunch of people who claim to be professionals out there the only ones that will cringe are the Perfectionists that would take 10 years to make that patch then another 4 to actually weld it in that's why many of them die before their projects get done then they sit on the other side when someone like us gets the project and just get it done.
Exactly right.Well said.👍
Some people can definitely do better or worse. But we’re getting it done. And I can always attempt another quarter panel in the future.
@PoleBarnGarage
@ I love Daltons videos.
😊
💪
2:09 Getting your friend home from the bar on his birthday
Come on pterri… you’ve had enough.
Are you in New England if you don't mind me asking because twice you predicted your were getting snow that night and so am I ...I live in Connecticut..... anyway love your videos keep up good work can't wait to see finished car
Nope! I’m in Virginia! Would love to come up north soon. Never been that way.
You remind me off ice-t when he whas young, and it in a good way not to insult you in any way 😅
He gets told that a lot.
I only started getting it with this series. Something about this car brings out my inner ice t I guess.. 🤷♂️
I was working on an old mail jeep. I had the body going like I wanted. Rebuilt the engine and transmission. It was really going good. I put two hundred miles on it. Then I had a spinal stroke. I'm paraplegic now. Not living at my house now. It's been five years since I've seen my jeep. Probably locked up engine now. Hasn't been fired up since 2020. But now I'm working with wood. Something I can do while in a wheelchair. Lol
Oh man. I’m sorry to hear that. Life sure has a way to come at you all at once. Keeping yourself creative is really important. Glad it hasn’t completely stopped you from enjoying working on something.
@RottenBuick it is aggravating. I'm staying with my brother in law. My little house is a 1920s pier and beam. Nice place but needs a remodel inside to accommodate a my needs. I've managed to recover enough that I should be able to get back to my house. Lots of nephews around to do the remodel for me. Life is good! And staying busy. Love to watch you work on your car!
@@stewartburks868 Man that’s rotten luck. But you really have a great attitude. I’m not comparing but just sharing, I developed very aggressive arthritis in my back in a very short period of time. Had to make some huge changes after being very active and physical my whole life. I’m getting around and doing stuff while I still can and addressing changes as they come. Mail Jeeps are pretty cool. A buddy of mine used to have one that we would tool around in and it never got old! God bless you brother with excellent days ahead!
@ ah. I’m glad you have some family you can count on. I’m sure one of them wouldn’t mind helping you make that old jeep hum again.
Come over to Trioxin - you never know what you're going to get!
to quote Jaws - you're going to need a bigger truck...
🤣 you get the head. The tail. The whole darn thing.
Can you find a parts car and use it to fix this one? I bet a few Four door ones are out there rusting away and would have some solid parts
Parts for all kinds of these cars are super desirable. But yeah I’m always gonna keep my eyes open in the future.
Black
Color, at this point, doesn't matter. Call it 'Preview Primer' and that will make the sections all the more obvious as you dial in repairs/modifications and the overall color(s) become more uniform.
Yeah I definitely see some areas of the panel that need addressing
Dang! Couldn't find the rat this time Chad. So what would you think about when you do a video you tell us and show is with a little pic where the rat was at? Maybe you could do this at the end of each video where it was in the previous video? Just a thought. It drives me nuts when I can't find it. Just gotta know. You know?🤪
I’ll post it on the community tab here in a minute.
May be lots of weld but it's still metal
Yeah. Technically.. 😆
He looks like IceT and sounds like that guy on the movie They Live that explains how the aliens travel
I’ll have to watch they live again. 😆 love Roddy Piper.
Almost wondering if someone wasn't planning on blue dots for the tail lights, given how perfectly round that hole is. There isn't a matching one on the other lens, perchance?
The other side is completely smashed out.
My Pteranadon flew away. Im still waiting on it to come back. Whats that old saying? If you love something set it free. Somebody lied to me. :(
🦖 my T-Rex never came home. 😢 🏠
Yes, there really isn't much difference between a pterodactyl and a Plymouth.)))
Both are already fossilized and extinct species.))
Man, that's cool, thanks.))))😅😅
@@ivancrookedhand7895 thanks for watching? Find and wings,
I really anticipated you hauling the dino on the roof of something like a supernintempo lol
Or leave the Rust and call it patina when there's no such Animal it's called Rust people or rot or Replace.
Yeah.. worn paint is one thing. Rust is another.
CHRISTINE
Christine.
Black or grey is gonna hide more
Cringing? Maybe not everyone would do it like you do, but you’re DOING it, and having fun, and it works 😎 Some people can do things better, some are worse - and some don’t do a damned thing except complain!
You keep doing what you’re doing, man, including pterodactyls 😃👍🇦🇺🦘
Don’t I know it. It’s Better to try and fail than never try at all. Right?
Just joined Patreon under (TitanicToby)! Couldn’t find how to become a channel member so I tried that instead 😂 I’ve gotta chip into this project somehow :)
😆 well thank you! I kinda forgot about Patreon. I’m terrible at self promotion. But thank you!
@ no worries! It’s like I said I just want to chip in and even if it’s just a little a month it’s still something:)
Maybe instead of using resin to fix the back lights, why not try using coloured plexiglass/plastic. Just a thought.
I could. It’s funny because the lights are cheap. Relatively speaking.. maybe I should just buy a set… 🤦♂️
If they are cheap to replace then go for it I'd say but in the uk a replacement for only one is $270. Bit steep for me.@@RottenBuick
@solidsnakesimulation666 I’ve seen them here for 60$ a pair usd
Thats a bargain, grab them if you can.@@RottenBuick
