- What if I would tell you that Visualization is real and you can make use of it in any endeavor of your life.
Visualization and imagination are what sets us apart from the animal kingdom but most of us don't even consider the power of Visualization. And often that's because the idea just seems too childish. But it indeed works and not in the almost magical way that self-proclaimed gurus on the internet.
In this video, Andrew Huberman will explain the science behind Visualization, how it works, and how it can be applied in your daily life.

Hmmm I would say that doing brief visualizations are good for goal settings and creativity, but visualizations done for longer minutes which is usually done through meditation (and yes visualization meditation is an actual style) can be quite healing and can also help with visualizing future goals and feelings etc until your mind (specifically the subconscious mind) gets it.
That’s a well structured point, how long you’ve been visualizing ?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
do visualisation help in learning ?
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 🧠 *Introduction to Visualization*
- Experiment: Imagining a yellow cube and a red rose.
- Neuroimaging studies show activation in the visual cortex during visualization.
02:06 🎵 *Auditory Visualization*
- Most people can vividly imagine sounds, such as a song motif.
- Some struggle with extended auditory visualization.
03:29 🖼️ *Short and Sparse Visualizations*
- Key principle: Keep visualizations brief (15-20 seconds) and sparse for effective learning.
- Difficulties arise with long, elaborate scenes or sequences.
05:06 🔄 *Neural Equivalence but Learning Disparity*
- Neural patterns during mental visualization mirror real-world experiences.
- Mental training is not as effective as real-world practice for learning and performance improvement.

the music is so loud and distracting and you really don’t need that when u have a valuable info
Ughhhh. I have aphantasia and it honestly makes me sooooo sad
I'm pretty good at music at least, though. The internal monologue is going 24/7. I would like to develop visualization, anyone have any tips?
If you find anything, please let me know too.. just 3 days ago I got know I have Aphantasia.. in all this 25 yrs of life I never understood what they actually meant when they utterd "Visualization"
@@itsSKG yeahhh, I get you. I get really frustrated when I meditate and they start with the whole, "now imagine yourself floating down the river" or "now imagine your ideal home" ughhh I hate it because I know visualization is one of the keys of manifestation, BUT so is emotional connection! So that's a plus side for sure. I saw a video a while back that kinda made a lot of sense , it talked about developing the mind and body connection focusing on the amygdala, your spine and your heart. I'll try to find it and link it here!
I'm surprised when he says most people can't do extended periods beyond 15 seconds... yet we all dream. I feel he is being modest about the potential.
Totally agree
Idk 🤷🏻♀️ since I was a kid I could get lost in extended visualization… is that unusual? I just can’t hear sound just like in dreams 😅
Is it maladaptive day dreaming? I have trouble paying attention due to constant day dreaming 😢 I'm looking for tools to help with this
I am incapable of visualizing anything. What does that mean?
You might have Aphantasia,
Go to the doctor or something
@@Superhero-i4wa doctor can’t do nothing. Lmao. Such a dumb response
I don't know how to do that visualization. Especially the flying part
I didn’t know either, but with baby steps you can get there, it takes practice
Hi I can visualize up to 15 min but I am dixleses
TURN OFF THE MUSIC!!!!!!!
i imagine in 144p

THE SCIENTIST
He could’ve said all this in about two minutes
He could have but he has the choice of being the bestower of knowledge to deliver it the way he deems fit.
We get so much information that we stop feeling grateful for it, else no knowledge would ever be powerful or neither will they change us!
You could have used 2 and saved yourself from typing two but here we are 😂
And you could have just looked at a different video. No one forced you, Toto face.
