3:42 They are literally a whole new level of girl crush. I thought that AOA was gonna be an idol group + girl band until they completely abandoned the girl band concept and only kept the idol part. Seeing Rolling Quartz as a girl band 100% made me fall in love with them. They didn't just choose to be a rock girl group just because it sounds cool to promote; they legit embrace rock. I hope they continue to stick together for a long time and promote rock music in the K-pop industry.
Love that they are getting the recognition they deserve. They are all excellent musicians, with the excellent vocals of Jayoung. Want to see them in LA. Saw some of their performance in Washington, had the audience right with them. Just a Damn Good Band!!
They should definitely perform in California, but it might be too costly to get a venue there. Hopefully, one of the conventions there can offer them an opportunity to perform so that they don't have to worry about getting a venue.
It would be even better if Korean TV stations let them perform _actually_ live more often. It happened once, on KBS All That Music, but all the other TV performances are mimed :( I get it, it's easier to produce for TV that way, and most k-pop groups don't play instruments so the stations might not even be prepared to mix live sound for a band. But it's still sad to see RQ mime when you know what they're capable of live. Well, at least we have what I think is a bit of Youngeun's live drums getting through the playback :D And all those great interviews of course!
