The musicianship of this band is upper level. I won't be surprised if they had some kind of classical music training. The timing is perfect. It's like they have a metronome in their head. The vocals are killer. The guitars kick ass. The bass is driving. The drums are perfect. Rolling Quartz is the real deal. I just heard of them like a week ago . Rolling Quartz beats Black Pink anyday .
Awesome! Saved me pushing my way to the front row to get a better look (though the sound near the back was perfectly mixed, usually the sweet spot in that club). Was so glad to catch their first tour in the type of small venue where they excel! I had played Mercury Lounge since it first opened in the early '90s for many years and this was the first group I'd seen in a long time who actually made me feel like the scene did back then (when I was their age). They really have the '90s indie rock feel down pat and their wall of sound in a classic venue (other than the LED lights nothing seems to have changed) totally made me feel I had been transported back to the days of Lunachicks, Unsane, Swans, Monster Magnet and early Helmet! Renting the Ampeg/Marshall backline from SIR (and then using the Marshall speaker case for a center stage platform-very smart) was the perfect rig for that sound. Of course this is the Newtro year of returning to the days of Y2K for the entire Kpop industry it seems and they certainly have already dug out their niche from that time! Nineteen's kitch includes distortion pedals (and made Pink Venom/Mic Drop into more of a Black Mamba monster). Fighting!

Iree might as well be back stage, damn zoom cropping her out almost the entire time.
(very) sadly, she was behind a house speaker.. there was no way i could film her, zoom or not. i tried to give her extra camera time any time she stepped out to make up for it. IREE FIGHTING

Leave it to sexy, cute Asian girls to save rock, showing all the lame boring men how it's supposed to be done! Band Maid, BabyMetal etc... Love all you girls for what you are doing!

I see that in the timestamps and in the description box you note which songs they did that were covers. You're missing two. Please update the list to note that both "Azalea" and "Sing Your Heart Out" are also covers. In fact, the real name of "Sing You Heart Out" is actually "Song of the Heart" as that was the title that the original band, Crying Nut, released it under. I don't know why the people behind Rolling Quartz decided to change the original "Song Of the Heart" title but they shouldn't have because it makes it confusing and harder to find the original. Here are links to the original songs:

"Song of the Heart" (original by Crying Nut): th-cam.com/video/CGvrvu4kT08/w-d-xo.html
thanks! i will make this update when i’m home!
@@SonicAwareness It's been days and you haven't updated the info on "Azalea" and "Song of the Heart" (AKA "Sing Your Heart Out") being covers. Still not back home? 😁
Jay sounds like the Korean version of pat Benatar ❤
