Living in NYC and attending NYU is super expensive. You must be a very good writer.
Both are definitely expensive. Gotta be good with money, have a job and / or wealth. I’m just lucky and good with my money, I never live above my means. 😊😊
I’m taking this as a sign because I’m also a Brit (British-Nigerian) hoping to move to NYC! Everyone keeps telling me not to but I know it’s where I belong! 😅 I’m actually coming to NYC for 6 weeks in June. As a New Yorker, I also find NYC to be inspiring. I also find London to feel like home for me. My husband is British and we plan to live in London part time in the future!

Welcome to NYC aka London’s cousin… I happen to actually like London I was there last year, and I have family in England as well. New York is a bit overwhelming for me and I’m a native - I’m actually looking to leave. I don’t mind visiting but it’s getting to be too much… I am interested in how you became a song writer.

London is beautiful for sure. It’s cleaner 😆😆. Would you move to the UK to live? I think as we get older and we have kids, we would leave the states.

Re: being a songwriter, I’ve been at it for a while, trying to make it as a musician first, performing etc, then I found writing music for tv/film and it’s a great way to make a living, be creative and have your freedom. You can get into it independently or find a publisher to sign with who you sign a contract with and they help you get opportunities.

@@justhau or so I would like to get into technical writing but I really enjoy creative writing myself. Something I do on the side but I majored in history in college, so that’s kind of my inspiration.
