Steven Wallace was with the 49ers from 1986 to 1996. Jay Leno started with the Tonight Show in 1992. So this had to be between 1992 to 1996. Can anyone narrow it down further?
Don't forget that Jay Leno also guest-hosted for Carson for years. George said that the 49ers "went to the superbowl last year" with Joe Montana falling on Steve's leg and breaking his foot. That would be 1988 or 1989. So this would be 1989 or 1990.
