Dude u're wrong: Max torque == max acceleration Max power == max speed Also if you take sprockets (F-R): smaller in front, bigger in rear - better acceleration bigger in front smaller in rear - higher speed basic physics dude
Mine got 50-55 mpg roughly unless I was thrashing it. Don't take the stock (or aftermarket) steering stabilizer off. I took mine off for wheelies and promptly put it back on after nearly wiping out. It makes a big difference. Respect the TL throttle whilst cornering and it will be less an issue as well.
The TL takes its speedometer input off the countershaft sprocket, so any gearing change alters the speedometer reading. Swapping the 17 for a 16 on the countershaft makes the speedo read almost 6% higher than stock. The larger rear sprocket will mess up your speedo even more..
I agree. I see people every single day that are an accident waiting to happen. What`s worse though is that they usually take someone else out with them. Only happened to me once though, in close to 30 years on the road. Some old guy T-boned me at a junction. Said he didn`t see me coming. Thank god i was in the car at the time and not on my motorcycle!

Fica cortando, dando uns tombos e como dizem uns e outros " enguiano" :D Esta trincada no quadro. Apesar de tudo arranca muito bem. O cara me disse que a vela q ta nela e da cg. Será possível? Será q pode ser por isso q ela tá assim? Sei q posso gastar muito ainda nela mais estou feliz. Onde passo tudo mundo vira o pescoço pra olhar. Muito show a moto.
Tiowill2 manutenção simples e barata. Peças para ela não faltam. O motor ainda reina nas V-strom. Toda a parte externa são compatíveis com a maioria das motos da suzuki. A moto é muito arisca e exige cautela nas aceleradas principalmente em dias de chuva. Se judiar vc vai pra o chão. Se arrancar forte sai de traseira no asfalto seco. Já ajeitei algumas coisas nela. Tá dando pra rodar. Mas quero deixar ela do meu gosto. Já tô dando um grau nas carenagens fazendo serviço de pintura e plotagem de carbono. No final vai valer a pena.

Nao é so de motos mais velhas nao, sao tambem de motos novas. Os caras sao atrasados, nao tem compromisso ,competencia nem muito menos responsabilidade. Veja que a minha voltou da oficina sem freio traseiro quando o mesmo trocou as pastilhas. Liguei pra ele falando que a moto tava sem freio e ele disse que tinha chegado o freio la na oficina e que poderia ser que ela tivesse perdido e que acontece kkkkkkk meu pau!!! ele pensa que somos trouxa. Sangrei todo o fluido velho coloquei o novo ,extrair todo o ar e o freio chegou sem nenhum esforço. Ele mecheu na bomba de gasolina, deixou a abracadeira da mangueira da bomba folgada e tava jorrando gasolina pra tudo quanto é lado. Imagine se eu tivesse pego a moto la pra vir rodando pracasa ? Tinha me acabado no meio do caminho. Por sorte ela veio em cima do carro pq tava passando la de joguei em cima ele dizendo que a moto tava pronta. Hoje percebo que muito acidntes acontecem por causa desses incompetentes. Um amigo da GSX750F desarmou o freio traseiro! A sorte dele que foi em uma reta e em baixa velocidade. O mecanico esqueceu de apertr o parafuso. É mole um negocio desses? Da uma sacada no canal do MADEIRA PERFORMACE pra vc ver o que é um profissional de verdade. Vou postar agora um video mostrando como minha moto veio da oficina. Veio com defeitos extras :D Coisa que nao tinha ,apareceu. Abraço!
Learner rider says he`s buying a TL1000 eight months ago....No account activity for 5 months. Hopefully it didn`t kill you but it would be my guess that it did.

I like the look of the VTR1000 better, but the TL1000's engine with that extra grunt gets it way over the line. This thing accelerates like an FZ1 for craps sake!!!
Not true. on the sprocket there ir a ring around the bolt that has 4 teeth. it reads from that. I own a TLS and just replaced it as the Previous owner broke it.

Przyjeżdżałem nią na naukę jazdy po placu gdzie jako uczeń jeździłem na daeilimie 125 a mój instruktor moim motocyklem robił 8 po czym był egzamin. Zdane prawko. I długa przerwa od Moto. Po 5 latach dopiero zakupiłem obecną tl zmieniając zawias przód z GSX-R k5 razem z hamulcami i pompą, dodając kilka innych przeróbek i tak jest do dnia dzisiejszego ze mną. Plus tdm 900 i oczywiście CBR 1100 xx więc sam rozumiesz. W przyszłości jeśli mi rodzina pozwoli może tl dostanie turbo nie wiem czy w Polsce będzie jedyną sztuką ale na pewno jedna z niewielu

@AidenTimmins . This is V-twin, max torgue at 7000rpm ( max acceleration). Fuel economy 7-8/100km :) This bike is not economical. ;)

Tive outras motos e andei em muitas mas a tl até agora foi a que mais me satisfez.

I just raced a Lambo on the highway from 3rd rolling start. My 97 tl with 115000 km blew that thing away.I’m a bit fat so I can keep her down.
50-55mpg on a tls, I don't think so. Best I ever got was 42 and that was driving like a real grandma.
