You and Guy have been doing a lot of work. Now the fun of rebuilding begins. The warm weather has sure helped this project, how nice to be working for a while with the overhead door open. I’d be happy to help you sometime.
We got almost everything apart. I still have some tear down to do on the frame. I'll probably be pulling the front and rear end off, springs and engine to get full access to the frame for repair, stripping and paint. It's crazy to be able to have the door open in January. I'll save some work for you though.
You pulled a *switcheroo* with the carbureator in the last video!! 🤣 I didn't notice but now it makes sense how it started soo easily. Glad to see you had help again 😁👍 Hopefully someone sells that frame section in a repair panel. Shouldn't be too hard to recreate though if not. I got faith in you Tim! I thought I'd fess up about the carb swap before anyone caught it and called me out. Guy and I already have a plan for the frame repair. I'll be using an old snow plow scraper blade to make the repair panels. It's the same exact thickness and should work without too much trouble. Hopefully I'll get to it in the next episode.
