I'm about to get an S24+ 256gb in Onyx Black, switching from a pixel 8 because I had terrible experience with the Pixel. It arrives on Monday, I'm excited
I like the look of the Ultra, but previous square edged phones have made holes in my pockets and felt uncomfortable. So this might be easier to live with.
Quick question sir. Currently I am using galaxy s23 Ultra. And i don't have any issues with it except this phone being too heavy for me. Would it justify to upgrade to S24+ from S23U? What's your thought on it? I am trading in my S23U
Not necessarily I think the s23 ultra is still an excellent phone, continuing to get upgrades, and not sure you’d see a huge difference in everyday use.
I've seen a couple of people saying that they went from a s23 ultra to a s24 plus. And they said it was great but it's mostly because s24+ looks better, lighter, curved edges, flat screen, and other stuff.
@@FLM_OFF i agree. I switched to s24 plus and i love it~

I find modes and routines useful. I switched to the S24 from a P30 because the Xiaomi 14 global version is taking forever to come out. I'm liking my S24 so far.😊
I wish we got Xiaomi's here in the US. I had to import the 13 series Xiaomi phones but just isn't worth the cost/time etc. unfortunately here in the US.
I'm still on the fence, whether to get the plus model or the ultra, I have an s22+ exynos and I've been watching countless videos trying to make up my mind.
I have purple s24 plus 512gb its amazing and i dont have that 5g antenna spot on side so looks better i think and i favourite colour is purple had a purple a54 beforehand 😅
Lol we might have been twin brothers in another life. I am on iPhone now, but the last Samsung I had S22+ had the same setup as yours. I hate bloat and I hate Samsung apps so I got rid of everything I could, and structured all of them in folders just like you :). If I'll ever get back to Android (highly doubt it since I have so many Apple devices that work great together), I'll go the Pixel route. Samsung just has too much bloat that I didn't manage to get rid of.
lol understand this completely! It's hard to move from iOS (bloat free) to a pretty bloated user experience like what Samsung offers. It has certainly improved over time and you can remove quite a bit but still not ideally for me either. Hard in general to get away from iPhone once locked in but Pixel is probably the best route to go or if Nothing Phone (3) offers a premium snapdragon experience, I'd go that route.
@@drewlipps Thank you, what do you think about the Exynos version, as I'm planning to buy one. I'm really confused since it's the first time buying an Exynos version.

Samsung seem to be having soem kidn fo sale which would giv eem 512 version for either but wishing they had a store closer and hate dealing online or phone, also sending back a trade in is hell which there was an easier way for that. I could also maybe do the trade at tm,obile which would onyl give me $200 for it but want to pay the rest of the phone, hmm still wondering what to do or just wait til next eyar maybe.
Going from the S22 to the S24/S24+ isn’t a huge upgrade or difference in everyday use. I’d recommend if you can hold off , wait until next year. Unless you’re able to get a really good deal and basically get an even trade in, without paying much upfront. The S24 Ultra would be a better deal if you can get a good deal there since the display, cameras, etc would be slightly better over the S22.
@@drewlipps I knwo Samsung has a deal they give you 300 in the trade, 120 for the education and 70 for bundle deal. Truthfully, I'm not a fan of the build language. Personally, I feel phones like this have absolutely no ergonomics whatsoever. In fact, I often refer to them as flat slab Flintstone phones. The seemingly endless right angles make it very uncomfortable to hold. Not to mention, it doesn't look anywhere near as premium as a curved glass phone. Of course, this is all subjective and others are welcome to their opinion. Let's just be honest, it looks like an iphone. LOL On the other hand, the s24 plus does a lot of things right. In previous years, the plus models have been underpowered and overpriced. However, this year's plus model has been given some much-needed upgrades in the form of quad HD display, 12 g of RAM and a much larger battery. It comes far closer to being worth that $1,000 price tag than it did in previous years. In fact, unless you need an s pen and some gimmicky bits of titanium why spend the extra money on an ultra? For the first time in a long time, the plus model seems like a viable alternative.
lol Google Calendar is stupid. Scheduling and repeat conditions are non existent. It's probably made by their interns. Samsung Calendar is where it's at. The same with other google app. No customization. what is android really for?
