The guy in the video is Corey Taylor (from Slipknot and Stonesour) and he has a very similar relationship with drugs and his mother which is probably why they collaborated together on this song.
actually for corey it was his dad who left him (listen to eyeless by SK) and he constantly moved around with his mom and her beating boyfriends leaving him rootless. so i guess it is a bit of a different life story but i guess they share the same pain and knowing what it feels like to be a drug addict as corey started using when he was around 12.
