Sheeva got a great character development in this game. She gained so much wisdom, realizing that she wanted better for the Shokan and Outworld in general (as long as her race can benefit that as well obviously), but a life of leasure doesn't belong in her race's history and blood, she would rather not change a thing and keep it that way even if it means losing comrades in battle. It's just a very wise thing to do from her perspective. She doesn't use the hourglass to Konquest, hopefully, she didn't used it to change history. She probably didn't even used it, considering that Goro isn't there (I mean he would have probably taken back the throne as King of Shokans). She really went through a whole redemption route this game and that's so much better than what we had in MK9 for her. Really makes her character more enjoyable. Even in the scenario, she never did the wrong things because she wanted it, but because she felt she "needed" to because she wanted to make Outworld better like Kitana wants.
