Dr. Jonathan Crane showed us around the Tropical Research and Education Center in Homestead, FL! Here's a look at some of the ongoing projects at TREC. trec.ifas.ufl....
Hi Chris... gr8 to see work on East coast/Florida. We have 200 acres at UCI South Coast Research and Extension Center. Wish they were working with Mangoes, and other tropicals. Good to see what is happening.
ive watch lots of video with that Dr, about pruning and tropical fruits, but never had an insite of what he dose. this was a very very educational video. im hoping you will upload more inspirational videos of you tour at TREC
I am interested in the research on identifying the pollinators and I'd like to know if they created a list of native plants that attract the right kind of bugs.
Dr. Crane is an awesome teacher.

I have a piña colada tree that is just starting to bloom if you were going to spray it what would you use?
Most commonly people spray sulfur and/or copper. Be sure to read the instructions and warning labels of whatever fungicide you use.
Truly Tropical 👍
