I agree with filly on the selfless act topic. Basically chunkz and Lawrence define selflessness as impossible. Defining a selflessness act where there is absolutely 100% no benefit to the selfless person does make an selfless act impossible. If you use another definition for selfless, say a selfless act may have less benefit than the act, to the selfless person, a selfless act becomes possible. Moreso, if the person committing the act is ignorant of what is actually in their self interest, that can be defined as a selfless act. In conclusion, basing the definition on intent, which I would argue is what should matter, Filly did in fact commit a selfless act.
Filly seems to be such an amazing human being. May God continue to bless him and may he never change his heart. Lucky are those who can have genuine people as they closest friend ❤🙏🥺
But I kind of get Filly on the selfless thing though - just because he expected a thank you, doesn't necessarily mean the act wasn't selfless, I think its just that he may have been shocked or upset that someone wasn't as ''good-hearted'' as he is, because he obviously would've said thank you and as humans we tend to think others will respond the way we do. I feel like, if anything, it's more of a growing pain, and once he accepts this reality about human nature he'll learn to adapt to the world without letting it change him for the worse, and if he remains selfless despite how people can disappoint you, it's a testament to his character and values.
But the reason u do the act is because u believe it is the right thing to do thus u might receive happiness out of it or relief for ur friend so it’s no longer selfless
@@xxkleatelitexx9845 Mmm I personally don't agree. I think that it's simply about your intention and whether it's towards the outcome of the altruistic act or about your involvement in the act. If you're just happy because someone's condition has improved then it's regardless of whether you contributed or not; if you happen to have contributed, I think your response in being content is only human, especially a human that wants to see and do good. So I think you can argue more that being happy you were able to be a part of improving someone's condition is actually what makes you a "good person"- not a perfect one. Especially because the older we get, the more we realize the importance of this (for reasons that have nothing to do with ourselves or our own desires - making it altruistic) it's just that some people, I believe, have this a lot more naturally than others, but it definitely can be developed.
@@rstart.1276 i understand what ur saying but an altruistic act means u gain literally nothing so to me regardless of ur intentions every good act has an intrinsic reward rather it be conscious or subconscious for example if i were to sacrifice myself to save someone the fact that i’m doing it to help that person no longer means its altruistic since i still gained something out of it
@@rstart.1276 or the example filly brought up where he paid his friends deposit being selfless which it is and its very kind of him, but to me nothing is truly altruistic he did that because he wanted to help a friend he gained something as he achieved the want to help a friend, he probably felt happy he was actually able to do that for a friend so regardless of his intentions he still gained something in that act

19:34 On the topic of fame and if it has changed Chunkz & Filly - We have to have to realize as human beings, we are not equipped for handling 1000’s of comments and constant attention on a daily basis. The impact of Social media is something we are slowly being to understand, so to have these two candidly share their personal experiences/feelings is honorable. Great pod bro
Just to touch on something Chunkz said about “accounts showing love & then turning into negativity” love is a 2 way street, sometimes you need to show a little back to those who support you to show you ain’t taking it for granted!
Unbeatable duo. Chunkz so soft and calm and Filly so loud and bubbly. I think Filly would lose his head if it wasn’t screwed on, he’s all over the place (in a good way). Genuinely seems like a good guy and gives the vibes that he sees the good in everyone. Just a guy that radiates good vibes. Chunkz is so peaceful. Honestly one of my fav celebs. So in touch with reality, so observant, respectful and just hilarious. Chunkz gives me black cat vibes and Filly is straight golden retriever. Complete opposites but just work hand in hand with each other. So very entertaining
For educational purposes. Followers do not get to heaven by just doing good works/deeds. Christians get into heaven by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The reason we tend to do good works is because of the Spirit of God working within us and by helping those around us we are representing Christ and by our works we do to Christ also, all mentioned in Matthew 25:35-50 for the works we do for those around us. The 2 greatest commandment are : Love your God with all your heart and have no idols before him. Love your neighbour as you love yourself. Hope everyone is having a blessed day.
Im just confused as to why filly sometimes asks what chunkz is getting him as a bday gift. If you bought him the rolex as a gift, if at your bday now you was given something as small as a box of chocolates, you should appreciate that from your darg and not months before beg to see what gift your gonna get. I thought he was selfless no? Not hating or anything…genuinely respect these man, but im confused on that bit.
Thank you Filly for speaking about your faith in Jesus Christ. Your “public status” will bring others to get to know Christ for themselves. Thank you both for sharing this platform in such a loving way. 🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾❤️

A selfless act isn’t a thing, even if it makes you feel good after doing it that is no longer a selfless act because you have had something from it. Great pod as always 👍🏻
It is by grace through faith. There is NO deed we can do that is good enough to have more “brownie points” with God. For Jesus gave the ultimate selfless act by sacrificing his own life so that we can live in eternity with him. On our own, psssh no way. I’m starting to see the disconnect from how Filly thinks to how Chunkz thinks. May God bless them both and I pray for them both.

50:20 as a 'Christian' (i don't like the label, i simply have a relationship with Christ) according to 'Christianity', you get into Heaven by truly believing in your heart that Jesus dies for YOUR SINS and rose from the dead, you accept Him as your Lord & Saviour and allow Him in your heart and allow the Holy Spirit to guide, lead and convict you in everything you do. secondly, by obeying the commands from God and by LIVING FOR and TRULY KNOWING God, that is how on judgement day you will be acknowledged as a Sheep of GOd, a Child of God and spend eternity in His Presence worshipping Him. 😊 I hope this was helpful. ❤
I'm a Muslim, alhamdoulillah, and this was actually very informative! I've never actually thought about the question how Christians believe they go to heaven, so this was definitely helpful. It's nice to see that you could give an answer to that question, so thank you! For us Muslims, we believe heaven is full of sinners who repent. Sinning and repenting is what a human being should do, because Allah swt (God) has made us with free will and desires, but made rules, regulations and restrictions so we know how to live life in this world. It's only normal to fall in the trap of Shaytan (Satan, the devil) and to sin. But Allah is The most Merciful, and He will forgive us if we truly repent, even the major and worst sins. I find that beautiful about my religion :) Also, the Quran states many times that "Surely those who believe and do good will have the Gardens of Bliss, staying there forever. Allah’s promise is true. And He is the Almighty, All-Wise" (Quran 31:8-9) Anyways, thank you once again for the information you've given. Have a good day :)

So very entertaining
man, makes me smile whenever I see an upload - keep up the amazing work you Gs!
I thought the same, thank u for put it here for people who don’t know.
thank you boys for another show
im with filly on this 1 A selfless act is in the moment situation because you're acting instantly
nah the fact u do the act bc u know its a good thing to do is the selfish aspect of it
Im just confused as to why filly sometimes asks what chunkz is getting him as a bday gift. If you bought him the rolex as a gift, if at your bday now you was given something as small as a box of chocolates, you should appreciate that from your darg and not months before beg to see what gift your gonna get. I thought he was selfless no?
Not hating or anything…genuinely respect these man, but im confused on that bit.
so what are you suppose to do nothing?
i tuned in once and can’t stop now
Yessss! I’m looking for all vids
yoo thank you very much for starting this pod it has inspired me to make my own with my boy and it relay help my mental state keep it up
Thank effin god filly finally realised how much of a golden heart he has ❤
41:54 you gonna end up single if you say “babe its not the one” with that tone 😂😂😂
Thank you Filly for speaking about your faith in Jesus Christ. Your “public status” will bring others to get to know Christ for themselves. Thank you both for sharing this platform in such a loving way. 🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾❤️
It’s crazy that chunkz violates filly’s dog (pin pon) in these podcasts 😂
Gets me creasing bro 🤣

He said he don’t have one. Just puts whatever’s available. Sometimes it’s just genetics
He puts head and shoulders the shampoo and uses it he’s blessed
Go to a dermatologist maybe they can help you
It’s melanin
Suggestions for the pod:
GET LAWRANCE THAT CAM FOR GOD SAKE
Make eps all the members of beta squad and sidmen individually i and then all of them at once like an ep for AJ, Niko, kennny and sharky then the whole of the beta squad
Try using your connections make an ep with footballers like trent or something.
Try and make 2 eps per week
Trying not to be sarcastic. But you think those are suggestions..? Most obvious ideas. Respect them a bit
These guys are so blessed man

Lawrence needs to have his own ep man 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chunkz is really smart and emotionally intelligent❤

aye big up Lawrence. always.
First one from SA to comment 😊
Love the show🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥
A selfless act isn’t a thing, even if it makes you feel good after doing it that is no longer a selfless act because you have had something from it. Great pod as always 👍🏻
I am soooooo happy to hear them say they want Mustafa the Poet on the podcast!!!! I've been commenting on each episode saying this
AHHHHH LITERALLY BEST PODCASTTTT
The way Filly’s eyes widened ‘what day is it today?! I’m moving tomorrow!’ 👀👀👀🤣
Lawrence is a great addition and asks really good questions
Filly’s outro on queen b and Chunk’s reaction😂😂😂😂 This duo is incomparable
CAM ON LAWRENCE 🙌
It is by grace through faith. There is NO deed we can do that is good enough to have more “brownie points” with God. For Jesus gave the ultimate selfless act by sacrificing his own life so that we can live in eternity with him. On our own, psssh no way.
I’m starting to see the disconnect from how Filly thinks to how Chunkz thinks. May God bless them both and I pray for them both.
We need behind the scenes of this pods😂❤
Missed you guys so much❤. Best part of my Thursdays fr❤
I look forward to this podcast every week...always good conversations. Love from SA 🇿🇦

as a 'Christian' (i don't like the label, i simply have a relationship with Christ) according to 'Christianity', you get into Heaven by truly believing in your heart that Jesus dies for YOUR SINS and rose from the dead, you accept Him as your Lord & Saviour and allow Him in your heart and allow the Holy Spirit to guide, lead and convict you in everything you do.
secondly, by obeying the commands from God and by LIVING FOR and TRULY KNOWING God, that is how on judgement day you will be acknowledged as a Sheep of GOd, a Child of God and spend eternity in His Presence worshipping Him. 😊
I hope this was helpful.
And He is the Almighty, All-Wise" (Quran 31:8-9)
Anyways, thank you once again for the information you've given. Have a good day :)
Amen!
@@Hey-fl9mlthis is so kindly written, God bless you, have a lovely day ❤
