I’ve been waiting to see hen dog hit his new clubs. Typically I don’t watch fitting videos or anything outside of matches on TH-cam, but that was a great video. I was surprised to see I had sat through 37 minutes when I was done with it. He seems like a genuinely good dude tho, that was a great video and I’m looking forward to this one.

Great video. Trottie is an elite fitter and great on camera. Doesn’t blow smoke and doesn’t harp on the “talking points” for TM clubs. Just does a great fitting and let’s the clubs speak for themselves.
My old home track!!!! St. Marcs (the 1k option .. lol) its a great course, taught me so much about course mamangemt and such as its a corky design. Great people there too. So happy to see you guys make it out there.

What the heck? When were you guys at my club? The links at lakehouse is the DOPEST deal around by a mile dude. I freaking love being a member there. I also want to point out that the course is NORMALLY in even much better condition than you're seeing it in this video. California had the wettest winter it's had in decades, and this course doesn't drain super well. Because of that, some of the holes weren't able to dry properly, and that's where a lot of those dead spots on the fairways came from. It's quickly turning around though and they keep the course is really good condition. The greens are super pure, and they're going to be re-doing all of the bunkers with better sand this year AND cart paths. It's gotta be the best value membership in socal.
I also want to point out that being a member here INCLUDES unlimited access to their executive course as well! Super fun place to hone in the short game.

whoever the little guy in bustjack golf i think is the best youtube golfer but I think grant is a close second because of how consistent they are all around especially off the tee. They know they dont bomb the ball and they own it and it makes them soo good. Love to watch it

The Links at Lakehouse used to be St Mark in San Marcos. Great course, and worth the membership.
I love St Mark (old name for the Links), its a fun local track with great staff. Not a course that you need to play if you are visiting SD, but youll have a great time if you do
Grants first shot on the 100K course was ridiculous! He's so solid, it's like a robot golf machine hitting the ball!

I think a nice trip the Upper Peninsula of Michigan would be a great time of the year to make! Sweetgrass Golf Course is the 2022 National Golf Course of the Year. 5 tee Championship golf course. Over 7000 yards from the Tips. It has also hosted the Epson Tour (formerly known as Symetra Tour) for the last 13 years. We also offer a sister course that hosts multiple Divison 1 Collegiate events as well.
Imagine looking out your window just to see Grant playing at your local club.

The $1000 membership looked pretty nice for the price. Around here, it's $400-500 for the basic membership at municipal courses. The country club in my town sometimes has deals for $2500 for a family, but it isn't a typical country club. They're about the equivalent of a municipal course. 1 town over, the memberships all vary. The cheapest is something like $10k and it doesn't give you access to the locker room. You also have quarterly amounts that you need to spend at the course to keep your membership. Of course, this is all heresy because the website has you fill a form out and talk to them directly about becoming a member. Nowhere online can you find current prices. I was told by multiple people that when they redid the course a few years back, the rates skyrocketed.
The links at the lakehouse is right next to where I'm getting married this fall. Thanks for scoping out the wedding weekend course for me!

True story: I found the game of golf because we moved when I was 12 / 13 and the house we moved to had a golf course behind the house. And the strip of land in between our back yard and the 3rd fairway had like 6 pear trees on it. Needless to say, it became a late summer tradition to gorge ourselves on pears while trying to not get stung by all the bees doing the same. Man I miss those days. The 80's were just the best. And so were the pears.
