Even when Akshay at 37:00 was “YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND!!” A fellow pro, a fellow tour player is simply floored by what he did….That’s when you know that what Wesley pulled off was absolutely insane.
Akshay is usually a much more steady and consistent golfer, so it was cool and also pretty funny to see him experiencing a Wesley Bryan golf round. Reminds me of when Bobby Jones said about Jack Nicklaus, “he’s playing an entirely different game, and one which I'm not even familiar with.”
Agreed, and then you listen to Wesley talk about Rahm as just another level entirely to him…. It makes you realise just how biblically good the best players in the world actually are.
Becuase they took 30ft of free relief out of Mud, which is not free relief, and then played it. They cheated, Grant and jorge didnt see it.

I know you may not want to call anyone out, but was it the same airline both time you lost your clubs? Maybe calling them out will promote change that prevents this from happening to other people. It would be a disaster for most people to lose their clubs.
@@Chris54321 too many massive moving pieces in an airline to truly solve this problem, best bet for most people is an apple AirTag or a LandAirSea tag in their bag to keep tabs on its location at all times.

Just discovered this whole network of TH-cam golf and think that @bryanbros do it so well. Grant is great. Had no idea Wesley was a professional, it was really cool to dive into his a career a bit. All these guys are amazing fun to watch and learn from. Really enjoy the content men. Keep it going!

I'm super suspicious of that "relief from the mud" if you hit it into the trees and it lands in the mud how the fuck is that relief.... I would have walked down there with Wes and made sure nothing fishy was going on. The free relief from the mud is just so convenient. Unreal birdie even if what I said was true!

i dont know many of the rules of golf but when you are that far in the crap and being able to take relief sounds odd to me

Oh man when Wesley starts feeling it, it’s truly some of the most incredible golf I’ve ever seen. That recovery shot out of the trees was absolutely insane, and it seemed like that really sparked him for the rest of the round.
Wesley with confidence is a force to be reckoned with. When he is relaxed and feeling good he can play any shot
that was a BRUTAL beat down. Hats off to Wesley - wow

@@BB-pg5klMy best guess is that it looks like the area had possibly been dug up for some sort of ground work/repair. So maybe they were taking relief as ground under repair from a pretty large area where the work had made it sloppy mud.
@@starwf07 I guess I'm assuming that would be considered out of bounds if it was shanked that far left into the woods. Apparently it wasn't. I know all the courses I've played that would've been a clear out of bounds with a 1 stroke penalty.
Akshay talking to Wesley, “Guys like you. Guys like John Rahm.” That had me laughing.
Wesley has never stayed quiet and let his clubs do the talking - he does both with equal ability.
Wesley is just insane with his wedges. He’s just as funny too he always cracks me up when he talks shit. High level golf, high level trash talk. Always classy
But he owns up when it’s time. Whether it’s calling himself out or complimenting a legit good shot by opponent.
Professional athletes have an edge to them, no matter how nice they are. Wesley always things every situation owes him the best possible outcome. Amateur athletes become content and almost worried when to many good things happen in succession.
Akshay seems to be about as nice of a guy as you’d ever come across, but you still see the competitive edge surface with zero empathy when they take control. .
That 6 footer turned into a 30 footer after Wesley ripped their hearts out, the ups and downs of this match have me needing prescription anxiety meds 😂😂
One of the best matches ever on TH-cam. I really hope Wesley can harness that carefree and easy style in his next tour event. He sure made it look easy, and he could compete with anyone in the world playing like that! Next level stuff!
Really appreciate the professional element of playing more so then other YT channels with lots of goofiness. Love watching Bryans game get really good and of Wesley being Wesley :) Keep it up guys great match ups...
You should work on your passive-aggressive skills, because that "other YT channel with lots of goofiness" actually organized a real professional tournament. Just when the goofiest of them all left the team because he wasn't happy about how much money he made :D

That's the great thing about YT golf...there's lots of variety to choose from. Something for everyone. I agree with you that this channel is more what I enjoy. I'm getting old though. :D
The fact that Grant calls George dad and George gives Grant the same clap after his shots that G3 does for the bros is hilarious.

Except they didn’t get a one club length. They got a “free drop from the mud” 🤔. Can’t say I understand that at all. You hit it out there. Mud or not. That’s what happens.

I love this series. Grant and George are my two fav TH-cam guys. Just seem like really great guys. But I’ll say, when Wesley is on, it’s clear he is one of the best in the world. It’s unreal really.
This was one of the first times I’ve seen George get genuinely heated and throw some genuine insults at Wesley because Wesley was so under his skin. The comments about Wesley being the “900th best player in the world but 1st scramble player” had a lot of jealously behind it.
If anyone is convinced George doesn't have deep seated jealousy of Wesley, they are kidding themselves.
Wesley was just a flat out jerk.

The only reason I root fir Wesley and tolerate him on TH-cam, IS because he is George’s little brother. There is no one on earth that I’d rather play golf with than George.
