Man, Kate Collins is such and underrated actress. She can play a lunatic so well yet at the same time you can feel bad for her because she that way because she was abused
When I see Kate Collins play Janet in the later episodes I try to picture her playing Natalie. I really wish they never killed off Natalie or at least continue the story line with Tim her son being a grownup character with his mother Natalie’s money.
why did they make Janet crazy again, When Robin Mattson played her she became normal. Then when KC resumed the role again, she became a cartoon version of Janet.
I say this all the time. This was when I stopped watching every week. Would tune in on a few occasions. Then when they killed off Dixie a second time, that's when I officially stopped! I would go back to watching a year later when Jesse and Angie came back
They explained Janet going crazy as due to her going off her medications since they cause adverse effects for her that were too problematic (in her mind)
Actually, Janet started acting nutty again just before she left Pine Valley in 2000 and was being played by Robin Mattson. She started talking into mirrors again and even killed her former cellmate, Sophie, with a crowbar. Fans always seem to forget this. I thought Kate did a great job as Janet. She showed a talent for humor she never did with Natalie.
Mattson was supposed to return, but she wasn’t well-received when she returned to GH as Heather, so they went with Collins. Collins said the only way she’d come back is if Janet killed Trevor.
