I know this is from 3 years ago, but I’m doing ok. I suffer from anxiety and other stuff from the military, and trying to get everything in order to start my detailing business has been one hurdle after another. But watching these videos helps keep me motivated. Keep up the great work guys!
I never had anxiety till this Pandemic started its been really bad the coronavirus really is bad where I'm from and I still have to go to work and be around people I understand what your going through!

But it's just stressful when your putting your health on the line everyday my anxiety has been really bad since this pandemic started.

Brent, I know how you feel, you are not alone. Everyone handles stress & anxiety differently and there's not one cure that fits everyone. The way I cope is at the beginning of each week, I make out a "To Do" list of manageable tasks, consisting of appointments and minimal tasks I want to accomplish (nothing overwhelming). Everyday, I look at the list and mark off what I have accomplished on the list. It could be as simple as checking and answering my email to going to an appointment. Each time you check off an accomplishment, and their can be repeats within the week, will make you at least feel that you have accomplished something. Don't worry about what you couldn't make happen, just list those as pending or on hold. I've been using this for the past 2 years and it organizes me to the degree that I give myself permission not to overdo on any one task or anything for that matter. It's put me in control of my life and made me a more productive person. I hope this helps.

I've told you before about my daughter, and how she struggles with a lot of the same things you do, Brent- anxiety, depression, migraines, sleeplessness... She's been through a lot.
She's had a rough week. But she's doing okay today. She still needs to find a job, which is challenging for anyone right now, and her issues make it harder...
Me, personally- I'm exhausted. Like I've said before: being a widowed, working, single mom of a child with mental health issues is REALLY hard. But I push through. This Covid/quarantine/mask/etc. crap has also been hard, because I'm such a people person, and a "hugger."
I really need this to be over... like a yesterday. 😩

What kind of dog does she have? A husky? Huskies and Malamutes shed like crazy and have these really dense under coats. I love the dog paw lights on the rear of the Jeep.

All things considered, I’m blessed to wake up in the morning, but this year has been super hard. Lost two family members and a close friend of mine. Had a pretty rough breakup from a 6.5 year relationship. And with everything going on in the world, my usual coping methods; gym and hiking, have been closed since March. But just gotta live on and roll with the punches?

That's a lot to deal with and have no real coping method. I hope things turn around for you! I find writing out my thoughts really helps. It gets it out of my head and on to paper and then I can shred it :)

Forsure! We sometimes do that because in the clips, if either of us talks or has to communicate something, that obviously will ruin the audio.

For your anxiety, try exercising at home besides talking to your therapist and watching a nice movie and being with family. I know it can sometimes be overwhelming but remember you are not alone.

It's ok to not be ok. I am very open with people about my mental health issues (mostly anxiety.) The more we share the more it gets out there the less people feel alone and ashamed. Do I wish I didn't have to medicate? Yes. Do I take my medicine anyway? Yes. So...how am I? Since March I'm soooooooooo glad I medicate! 🤣 Lawd, those of you that aren't already on something, I feel sorry for you! I find that writing out my thoughts, however random they may be, really helps get the poop outta my head. Has to be pen to paper. Then you can shred it, burn it, or keep it.
I was supposed to go on vacation this week but there is a tropical storm headed to my destination and one headed to where I live. Yeah, that's some 2020 luck huh?

You know, i have a really bad aniety and i never use klonopin or the other one, i just use CBD oil and it's help calm me down rapidly maybe you can try

You mentioned that anxiety is stealing your days, and I can so relate! When I get overwhelmed with politics, covid-19, etc, I watch automobiles being detailed, the nastier the better. I love the before and after photos and the discussions of which cleaning products were picked. You are providing a wonderful service that helps drivers feel more calm and less distracted while operating their vehicles. And anything done in the spirit of keeping folks safe is golden. Hi. I deal with bipolar depression, severe anxiety, ptsd, and ocd. I watch all your videos but I don't always comment. Kudos for talking about your anxiety. Keep doing what you are doing. The world is in a crazy place and we are all in a bit of Kaos but as an empath, I know the world will right itself soon. We each deal with mental health issues differently and I hope you are feeling better soon. I have been (slowly) learning that each day is different and to live in the moment. Accept that today might be the best you are having, but find the good in the day. Surround yourself in positive even when you are not feeling it. I recommend a channel, Buckin Billy Ray Smith. You are correct. But, one thing I keep in mind detailing cars is that you
cannot tell someone what to do with their car. We get paid to clean,
no matter what it looks like.
There's about $1.30 or $2.60 worth of cans that I counted

In the car, I turned it up to just-under-eardrum-popping volume. The bass drum like a heart beat, the snare drum like a repeating reminder not the slip under the waves. The words/ vocals and keys like a blanket being tightly wrapped around, and the guitars breaking in like a shot of adrenaline to the heart. Jars Of Clay have been a huge part of my life for the past 25+ years- due mostly to a lot of songs like this.
