Probably the most positive, upbeat perfect way to end a movie in the history of cinema. I can't stand most musicals but this song accompanied with Kennard's performance puts this over the top. Sure it's goofy at times but Stuck on You is a really dope flick I don't care what anyone says.
Check out some Indian cinema sometime. There are some insanely badass action films such as Saaho, Baahubali and War (2019) that have musical interludes but are in no way musicals. Netflix and Amazon Prime have those and many others.
I legit love this movie. The chemistry between Kinnear and Damon, Multiple hilarious instances of celebrities playing themselves, it’s got such a great and positive ending. I miss movies with optimistic endings. I feel like movies don’t really have endings like this that much any more. Just happy and heartwarming.
Absolutely fantastic, anyone who grew up with this as one of their favorite scenes will for sure be invited to the watch party in the sky come one hundred years time.
One of the most underrated and unknown movies. Great performances, and great production. Comedy and drama masterfully worked together, enough comedy so that its a happy movie, enough drama so that it has substance and meaning. This is one of the best movie endings ever. Cleverly done, and perfectly captures all that's gone before it.
My goal was to sing/perform this song for Karaoke! Anyone else tried it? Cause ONLY someone who has legit tried to sing/perform this, would understand how GREAT GK did and IS! It is crazy how recognition goes in the LA world. His performance is above a lot of the layers and should be referenced as a standard for everybody!!!
Oh man. I liked this rendition soooo much. Rhianna asked permission to sample it on her album. But it seems that Billy Stewart sang it on his album in 2007.
@@ShannonLee1956 no seriously RiRi called him and said she wanted to sample his rendition. She only used the opening for her song “Cockiness” (Love it)
Can't believe u cut the first two BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR UP!!!!!! That's so sad men....But thanks anyhow for upload with a better resolution....awesome scene-song-movie!
It was so very strange when this kicked in on the soundtrack of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and I started getting flashbacks of Kinnear as Clyde Barrow.
I was so impressed by this rendition and his singing. Then i found an old video of this black singer who is the original guy who sang this very song like this, back in the 50-60's.
Frickinnnnnn love this movie, basically The Farrelly bros just repeated the successful formula of Dumb & Dumber (same two lovable idiots, same hair, great music, random cameos, & lots of heart beneath the potty humor. Sad this doesn’t get as much love as D&D but it’s AS good IMO & what an awesome ending! ❤️
Saw the moves in the back from Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal video YES,! Nice homage. The version of this incredible song is like an artist I’ve not heard of before; sadly cannot remember. Of course my fav will always be Sam Cooke then Janis Joplin and on to Fantasia Barrino,
Greg stated on Jimmy Kimmel (Jeff Goldblum hosting) that he recorded Jimmy Stewart’s song for this movie and Rihanna’s people asked if she could sample. Nice slice of history and Greg did justice to the Late Great Mr Stewart’s song.👍

You right
Check out Mamma Mia!
My thoughts exactly!
Definitely as it covers all the qualities of a great movies with rememberable one liners. " I wonder what she's got under the hood " lmao.
Rihanna's 2011 hit song "Cockiness (Love It)" samples the beginning of Greg Kinnear's performance of "Summertime" from the 2003 movie Stuck on You.
I just found that myself. 😂😂
and it works so well!
Definitely the best cover of Summertime - Ever.
for real! I actually like this version better hahaha
although its pretty much a copy of this th-cam.com/video/CDLDl0_pt_k/w-d-xo.html
larkinsmithtube lol dude that’s the original this video is a cover of that song...
Absolutely agree!
I just wish: 1. It was available on #Spotify. 2. That I could tell the man in-person (!)
My favorite scene of any movie ever
It's awesome. I re watch it every now and then and it always has such a feel-good effect

I find myself coming back to this scene whenever I want a good laugh, a great song and a great performance
This scene rocks!!
Same. Been my go to for years.
@@jasonism. It's catchy and easy to go back to on many occasions

Criminally underrated comedy. I loved it, it was goofy, with a heart of gold and a great cast. Love this cover too 💖
I saw it for the first time this week. Found it a fun watch.

Greg actually sang this... makes it 10x better
That was a surprise. I'd love to seem him sing more.
He really nailed it. Why he doesn't sing is puzzling.
Yes! The Billy Steward version. Expertly done! I love it! And before this movie I didn't know Greg Kinnear could sing.
Legendary performance!
If Greg Kinnear actually sang this, he’s fucking talented.
He did. Confirmed in the disc commentary.
Legit.
He actually did sing this
Wow the rolling of the tongue thing isn’t easy but that high note at the end too man yea he is a fucking legend for this 🙌🏾.
Ive always wondered if he lip sank that cause damn its very good
The best cover for Summertime
I love that ending so much.
He’s doing the Billy Stewart version! ♥️
Yes he is
What a performance by Greg Kinnear👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This version is incredible!!!!! very nice!!!
I had no idea Kinnear could sing like that. Kudos, Greg.
Walt is going to be an uncle soon.
Greg is definitely a triple threat when it comes to being a true showman
This song is Amazing ❣️❣️❣️
Still the best cover out there

Kinnear actually sang this song.. saw in an interview that he recorded this song and they all couldn't believe he had such a good voice.
One of my favourite songs in a movie
Great time of movies, seeing this at 10 years old was legendary, now at 30 still legendary 🔥
Oh man. I liked this rendition soooo much. Rhianna asked permission to sample it on her album. But it seems that Billy Stewart sang it on his album in 2007.
I just watched him talking about this song and RiRi on the Kelly Clarkson show😄.
Are you people joking? I'm never quite sure these days.
@@ShannonLee1956 no seriously RiRi called him and said she wanted to sample his rendition. She only used the opening for her song “Cockiness” (Love it)
Not sure if I’m understanding the comments correctly, but Billy Stewart died in 1970 at the age of 32.
Lmao
I only come here to watch one brother not clap because he's proud. The other brother totally gets it and points at him, & the other points right back.
AGREE, AGREE, AGREE!!!! Awesome scene and ended up being a pretty touching drama at the end
I loved that movie... Cher, and Meryl Streep..... Gtfoh.... Awesome

this is the only thing i think of when anyone ever mentions bonnie and clyde
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that thought of this when that came up on the soundtrack.
Hush little baby don't you cry! Good stuff
I was so impressed by this rendition and his singing. Then i found an old video of this black singer who is the original guy who sang this very song like this, back in the 50-60's.
Very good music for 60's and also for now 🤩
I have always loved this rendition im no musical fan at all but this is good crosses thru all boundries
It's honestly so sad this isn't on spotify. It'd be pretty high up in my most played for all time if it was
THE VERY BEST rendition of this song I ever did hear. ❤❤❤
Look up Billy Stewart’s rendition, which this one is just an inferior copy of.

Crazy how Rihanna used 2:33 as a part of her song Cockiness!! 👏🏼🥳
I love when I can find this version on the jukebox.
Am I the only one who wants a Bonnie and Clyde musical now?lol this is perfection. I love this movie
I just realized Rihanna sampled the beginning of this on her song Cockiness. Wow it sounds so different .
Yup yup that’s what made me fall In love with the song even more
She samples this song during her entire song, not just the beginning. Listen closely.
