- Another made by request video about the best mitigators in global. Eleanor was not yet released in global, but she is going to be released like really soon so i included her in this video (her data is already in the game anyways). I tried to be fair for the ranking, but note that the ranking in this video is based on my personal opinion. IF you have different opinion, i won't argue, it's your right to say which unit is the best for you. Enjoy the video! :D
PS : Shera has not yet released in global. Most likely she won't be available in global this January, so I didn't include her in this video.

Honestly quite surprise to see my main mitigator Juno-chan on no.3. Because of the revive buff I think.
Yukari MAiG well, juno on number 3 is good, I guess. The revive buff is not even 100% (you could fail the buff even on UBB), so her being number 3 is good. Well, to each his/her own
to people who upset about their mitigator , who always rely on OP mitigator (newbies), who dont have much experience and who cannot build a good squad.
I want to tell you something , this is Ushi's opinion ,not our. the best mitigator is depend on our opinion , depend on situation , depend on what buffs you have units you have.
if you dont have Top 5 mitigator that ushi mentioned , Global exclusive include Limited time units. dont upset because you can build squad with the same buffs too.(except Eleanor since there is no mitigator that can beat Eleanor LS+BB/SBB combo)
for example
if you dont have Rain , you can use Hisui . if you dont have Hisui you can pair krantz/stein/other mitigator with def buffer. like Stein+Melord since Melord give you boost def base on atk buff and its the same as Rain's boost def base on atk buffs. Rain give Tri-stat ? you can use sirius for Tri-stat , Silvie too (same as Rain 180% Tri-stat if you take enhance tri-stat SP) Atro also give you Tri-stat too. or you can combo with other unit that give specific stat like Ark (Atk +160%) with Alice (def/rec +150% if I'm not wrong).
you might say like "Rain still better for slot effiency" but try to thing about it again. I ll give you another example. if you using stein+melord you will get another buffs too like status ailments immunity, Heal (from stein) , crit rate , crit dmg , boost bb gauge when attacked , boost atk base on def (from melord) which mean if you using rain , you ll need to bring anti-debuff unit , crit buffer units , atk conversion buffer units , bb management units. that's why I say you can build squad which have the same buffs but different units. BF isnt game about what units you have. its about what buffs do you have.
also , its depend on situation and what kind of dungeon too. for example if you fight in dungeon that have bb gauge recovery down gimmick or bosses love to reduce your bb gauge. elimo/krantz is the best choice since they have bc cost reduction and their bc cost is low which mean EZ to spam mitigation buff or if boss love to reduce your bb gauge and hit hard like a goddamn tank. you can use 1 fujin for krantz and elimo for mitigation buff and heal too (other mitigator that doesnt have heal need to use another fujin to healer unit).
if you fight in dungeon that hit hard when your unit git inflicted by status ailments , stein , hisui , juno-seto is your choice since they can give status ailment protection which mean you dont have to bring anti-debuff anymore.
if you fight in dungeon that hit like a truck , Rain/Hisui/Eleanor/Lara is the answer since they're give you def buff to make your units tougher and hard to kill.(Eleanor didnt give def buff but she give Elemental mitigation buff to make your unit survive better)
here's my own thought about using mitigator (for example)
Krantz - need heal , cure status , need 4 turns mitigations , need bc hc drop rate , heavily bb gauge recovery down gimmick , need tough mitigator (krantz have high HP , his Sphere give status ailments immunity , EWD immunity to make him survive last long and cure status ailments back up when my anti-debuff die and I dont have any revive left)
Hisui - need rec/def buff , need def conversion buff , need anti-debuff buff , need tough mitigator (Hisui def stat is ridiculous high and his ES give him EWD immunity and status ailments immunity)
Lara - nees bc hc drop rate , need HP regen , need crit immune buff , need backup bb atk , need atk/def conversion buff , need ADR down immune buff , need heal , need def ignore immunity from her LS
yeah , mitigator that have more buffs or powerful buff (Global exclusive always like that) make you can performance better or even make you can play with more squad but JP player can clear them without Global exclusive too. so ,if you dont have them dont upset. you can clear it too.

Damn Savageness k I don't think so, Ushi probably gave her that position cause she does no damage, which make her useless for everything except hard dungeon and such. But that's really all she need. She got every possible buffs you need from a mitigator except element damage reduction, in hard content, she's tier with Elenor
Will the type of mitigator affect the unit? Which type would be the best for Eleanor?
juno seto is now the only heal miti reviver as there is more revivera now.

Im confused on what a mitigator is
A mitigator is a unit who has a "50% Damage Reduction for (x) Turns" buff in their leader skill (LS), Brave Burst (BB), Supper Brave Burst (SBB), or Ultimate Brave Burst (UBB)
Wait, doesn't Elimo negate all elemental damage for one turn? Or am I confused?

Torturous Grief Zeliha has 2 turn 100% migitation on her ubb. But she doesn't have any on bb or sbb; so she might not really count but its something to consider.
Could a collaseaum guide containing recommended leaders and sub units as well as what bonuses you recomend be something you might do? Even though I'm nit a new player and understand it quite well by now, I think it would immensely help newer players who are just unlocking it.
I know it's going to depend largely on the squad, but I still think you could make a video talking about the best overall Leader Skills in your opinion, Ushi.
Hello ushigaming, I know it's kinda late to ask but do you know if Eleanor is better then ILM as their own. What I mean is that if it's just fine to have them as units on a team instead of them being leaders. I just want to know which one is the best as just on a team, and of course because I have both of them

Hello guys i play on eu server so my units are a bit outdated but i dont know what te best option is for my squad, i have: 2x sirius, lara, alice, elimo, shera, kuda, michelle, orna, lillith, zelnite and some older units, but what would be the best squad have in general as a squad?

Ushi... I have 2 mitigators, Krantz and Elimo. If you were me, what units should you bring to back both up in the same squad.

TFW krantz gets outdone multiple times in a month or two. He was at the top for a long time. I'll still use him over hisui doe.

Frost Draco its depend on what unit you have what dungeon did u fight with or what situation that you met.
I still using krantz even I have many mitigator.
for example if you fight dungeon that boss have reflect dmg buffs. its mean u need healer more than 1, U can use krantz for that. if your ark have antidebuff units that cant cure status you can pair with krantz. if you need 4 turns mitigation , krantz is the best choice.
I cannot say like "oh , rain eleanor hisui is the best mitigator" they're all good and dont upset if you dont have mitigator that everyone say OP since you still can get buffs from other op mitigator from other units
for example if you dont have rain , you can pair krantz with melord. melord give boost def base on atk same as rain too. you might say like "Rain still better because slot effiency" but try to think again since melord give other buffs too like boost atk base on def , boost bb gauge when attacked , crit rate , crit dmg which mean player that use rain need to find other unit to give buffs that I mention too.
For some reason krantz has a certain simplicity that has him as my most used mitigator. Even back on the 7* era
Frost Draco he's still a pretty legit litigator with heal, remove aliment, 2 turn mitigate, dark light buff, and bc buff
Except for the element/critical immunity, he had everything
What more, 4 turn mitigation on UBB
He's still my first unit in a squad, because i live for mono light. Just seems a bit sad my old husbando is falling behind. Bound to happen with new units coming out but yea.

Eleanor, Hisui and Elimo are top 3 mitigators for JP. Rain, Juno-Salto, and Ilm are all GE.
You should make a top 10 list for SAO MD
eleanor is only good if you have a support unit like cleria, since bb, heal, and negates status ailment is a must, especially on trial/GGC/ etc..

@@fashyakupercent20 personally my favourites are elimo, feng( 100% mitigation in ubb) alan (also 100% mitigation in ubb) stein, and eleanor. I mean im not a pro player but these units helped me survive really hard trials and challenges.

Noodles Noodleson a mitigator is a unit that directly reduces damage done to you. So 50% damage mitigation means you are literally taking half the damage dealt to you.

his UBB might get 100% mitigation for 3 turns before JP meta
His SP might get Heal , negate crit/EWD/status ailments and maybe can upgrade into 2 turns like Gabriela.
