It's called Electric Beach because Hawaiian Electric has the island's primary power plant there (you can see it in the background through the windows of the sailboat in the beginning of the video). Those two big pipes they are snorkeling by are the outflow pipes from the plant. The water is heated there because of the outflow, so there is a lot aquatic life in the area. Sharks are plentiful nearby-but snorkelers are not on the menu "normally".

@@rylann2868 Well the bird isn't lagging. It's flapping its wings which are darker from the top and white from the bottom. Against the background, when the bird flaps its wings down, it 'disappears' which creates the 'lagging' effect. If you slow the video down and focus on the bird, you can see it's there all the time. :D
