When I brought my cube for the first time. The teacher didn't take it away from me, instead she asked me if I can solve it or not. I said "yes", then she asked me to solve it in front of the whole class... I was feeling so hesitant😅

Funny thing. I actually brought my cube for the first time to learn how to solve it. (it was the rubik's brand, i was just learning how to solve it). I asked my principal if I could bring it to school so I can practice when I finished all my work. She said yes, and so i did. Eventually I learned how, and people were asking me to solve it in front of them. Some were amazed, some didn't care. Last Sep-Nov, I looked for my first speedcube. Since I didn't know much about speedcubes, I just chose any (Gan 356 RS), and when I brought it to school I was practicing it to go faster. And the best thing? My principal had actually let me CREATE a rubik's cube club! (technically it was combined into our chess club, but still-) It's amazing how my principal let me do this. If the principal didn't let me bring my rubik's cube to school, i wouldn't have ever learned it. (I still have the gan 356 rs, and it's one of two i got. but it's the best one i own, but i cant get another atm.) my current record time is 0:49. I am so proud since i have went from 2 mins record to 49 seconds.

I bring my cube to school and sometimes my friends scramble it for me. Then I solve it and most of the time they’re like, “well I bet you can’t solve this one” and they scramble it for like 5 minutes and I solve it. It’s happened like 20 times or something. They will never learn that scrambling it til the end of time doesn’t make it harder

100% accurate my teacher banned cubes because they were a distraction :(
