James Earl Jones also played Mufasa in Kingdom Hearts II. I don't know about the hyenas but I think Cheech Marin reprised his role except for Whoopi Goldberg. Timon and Pumbaa sound the same or about the same.
"This is his fight donald" Im so glad they let Simba face down Scar alone instead of making sora and company interject. It's such an integril moment to Simba's development as a character. Granted he needed sora and company to stop Scar's hearless tho.
Well yeah Heartless shenanigans required Sora to intervene. But since Simba beat Scar when he wasn't a heartless and he joined Sora in beating Scar during the boss fight, Simba won the battle against Scar in every possible way he could have.
To be completely honest- my very favorite voice of Shenzi is Whoopi Goldberg because she uses her low-pitched voice while Tress MacNeille uses her high-pitched squeaky voice.

Ok, ik this is an old comment but Im just gonna get it out of the way, lions don’t eat other lions, they don’t eat any other predators either for that matter unless their starving unlike hyenas, but when lions take over a pride of another male they will kill and eat the offspring of that male, Sora is a cub in this game as he has no mane, so scar would want him dead as he’s not his.

Next to Hunchback of Notre Dame, this is my least favorite world in the Kingdom Hearts series. Why? It’s Disney’s highest grossing 2D film and there’s no effort to it! The world felt so empty to travel in (Did we really need that big a space on the pathway to Pride Rock? You could have added anything besides just a few dead trees), half of the audio is ripped straight out of the movie ala Rambo 2014, Scar is nowhere near as interesting or intimidating as he was in the movie as his only expression is that evil grin, the Hakuna Matata moment is just brief and came out of nowhere, not to mention there’s no music during that moment only making that scene more cringe worthy, andthe line delivery of these actors reading off lines from the movie came off as awkward, particularly the scene on Pride Rock with Scar and Simba. I mean come on! It’s The fucking Lion King! One of Disney’s most acclaimed films and they’re treating it like it’s The Black Cauldron! They didn’t care!
