If you’re trying to gain exp for a tower easily, go onto a hard map and do deflation.

I believe you get around 110k exp per deflation match on an expert map, and its around 70k on an easy map

Also, tower exp only matters on the amount of money spent on a single tower, ex. 10k spent on dart monkeys and 40k spent on boomerang monkeys, boomerang monkeys will get 80% of the exp
