- In this episode I take a long awaited look at Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365. We’ll discuss not only what it is , but how it works as well as enduring your data is secure. There are now over 100 Copilot products in the various Microsoft products. In this session I’ll take a look at specific options for Microsoft 365. Take its results with a MASSIVE pinch of salt. We're still testing it and it transcribed a meeting I was in. It said "Steve said there is an issue with the phone system and he'll fix it shortly". 1. There was nothing wrong with the phone system. 2. I never said that, it just made the whole bit up.

really wanted to learn more about it, however, I can't convince my company to buy a copilot license (even 1 license for the pilot test) as this is quite expensive. How i can tackle it and try this feature personally?

Thanks, sir, for this... but I have issues in my CoPilot main chat, and in Excel and PowerPoint especially... I can not see the "add file" button option... which is sad... yes, I am a pro user and have 365 sub. Please help! 🙏

what benefits does Copilot offer in terms of Excel/ Sharepoint/ etc? Same as the other connected apps? What are the security concerns regarding gaining info from other sources ( cause this is what it does as this is AI, like chatgpt )
Absolutely there are many benefits for both SharePoint and XL in the form of data sorting, analysis charting and graphs and so much more.

Great summary - thanks for creating the video. Also, very interesting technology I am a big user of LLMs.
However, this stuff is very destructive in the wrong hands. Co-pilot needs to ask more questions before generating content that will consume everyone's time. For documents and presentations it should ask about your objectives, who the audience is, what the audience's objectives are, etc.
We can easily get on a path where GenAI is creating garbage that is consuming all of humanity's time.

It is all good, but in word online wrap text doesn't work, you can't make it behind the text and in front of text.

To be honest, $30 per user/month is a lot for Copilot to help me write a document or a PPT. There must be much more value than that. Unfortunately, all the presentations on YT are about these trivial benefits.
Now, how do we disable it globally on all systems and applications to ensure our IP/ITAR is protected without paying Microsoft for additional charges like our own Ai instance. I see these and laugh out loud at all the companies going for CMMC that are being forced to pay extra because Microsoft doesn't make things easy or even possible to disable it not enable in the first place.

@@AndyMaloneMVP except you can't fully. Copilot and Ai has been forced down everyone's throats by Microsoft. It's auto enabled in almost every system, and their guides are horrible or outright inaccurate on how to disable it for an enterprise tenant. This is hugely problematic for anyone concerned about compliance requirements.
